Delta Hotels by Marriott Somerset

Front desk staff was very friendly. Hotel is very clean my family enjoyed the pool.

Everything went well. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing we experienced was a barking dog and kids running in the hall the next morning.

It was a beautiful, relaxing facility. My only question was why no microwaves were not in the rooms. I would go back & highly recommend family & friends stay there.

Excellent Hotel for family.

While staying at the delta Marriott what initially started as a great welcoming from desk staff upon arrival turned Into an unpleasant and uncomfortable stay. when my 18 year old child tried to enjoy one of the amenities such as the gym a white male staff noticed them working and left out the gym to get another staff. A few moments later they was approached by another staff member on duty. My child who is an 18 year old African American who is apart of the LGBTQ community felt offended and discriminated against. When I went down to talk to the front desk a staff member by the name Angie stated it is up to the manager on duty discretion to allow who comes in the gym despite the sign stating 16 and under should be supervised by an adult. I then was given the statement they are waiting on the signs to be removed. Before I go to any hotel I check the amenities what is advertised and the policies and procedures. Their advertisements was misleading and policies were discriminatory based on manager on duty discretion who was not even available or on duty to speak at the time. To follow up a manager now on duty named Sheila called my room to try to explain what was stated to her by her staff for the reason they were approached at the gym stating my children was playing with the weights This was never stated to me initially and an excuse to try to validate this discriminatory behavior. I Asked to see the camera and they never followed up. Very uncomfortable stay.
