Courtyard Somerset by Marriott

Loved this hotel. Pool was nice especially for my kids.

No one answers the front desk phone, there were children completely out of control running down the hallway and all over the hotel at almost 3am. A man tried to get into my hotel room and was banging on my door at midnight saying “let me in” I wouldn’t feel comfortable staying again. None of my complaints were heard from staff

Me and my family enjoyed our stay really thank you guys for a wonderful overnight stay.

Would recommend this location to friends and family.

I had to move the first room because there was no internet. Then the second had no heat and they told me they would give me a small heater. I two kids in the room so I didn't want to move again so I said forget it. But besides that I stay there all the time and usually it's awesome

First off, I have to say every member of staff was extremely nice and welcoming. There were several issues however. The window in the room had a broken lock. The window could fully open with no screen and I had 3 kids with me. The maintenance person came up and moved the safety lock over so it couldn't be opened more than 4 inches or so. The toilet didn't flush unless you held down the handle and even then it didn't fully flush every time. The room itself was very clean and the hotel looked for clean and welcoming in most areas. However the pool was horrendous. It was extremely cloudy and we could see our foot prints in the grime or dirt on the stairs when we got in. We didn't go under or stay very long. This is a shame because we paid extra to find a hotel that had a pool. Our thanksgiving had to unfortunately be in a hotel this year and we wanted a pool to make it special for the kids. Lastly, we were offered a rollaway bed so I accepted. Several hours later it had not shown up so I called down to the front desk. They brought up a bed a few minutes later, but it was an air mattress not a rollaway bed. My 4 year old slept on it and it was completely deflated when he woke up on the floor at 230am. With how friendly the staff was, I wouldn't have expected these issues. Honestly I am extremely disappointed the most for the pool after we specifically spent the extra money on this hotel because of the indoor pool.

Not a great property to stay with family and kids. Swimming pool was closed without announcing or informing. Old property and poorly cleaned.
