Embassy Suites Piscataway - Somerset

Love that it is family friendly.

1. They have to have a security guard at the entrance of the pool. 2. In a bad part of town. 3. Lots of wild kids running around with no parents. First and last time.

Great accommodations. Especially for a family.

Bathtub is dirty, windows are dirty, blankets are ripped but the stuff is friendly, the pool water was very cold for kids.

Only part I didn’t like was how rude the police officer was to ask us to leave the pool. I didn’t know 9pm kids couldn’t be in the pool. I wasn’t told about the pool after hours by the front desk.

Considering I was an hour early the hotel accommodated. It was a very fast check-in and the rooms were small but clean. As always Embassy does not disappoint with its breakfast, however, the frozen potatoes was a miss. The property sits in a location far away from dining and other establishments, but it is a safe and quiet environment .Our stay was great until Saturday night when the hotel was full of kids and one individual thought it would be fun to pull the fire alarm. All the guests had to stand outside in the rain until the fire department gave the all clear. It was easy to find off interstate 276/95 and just a short 45 minutes from New York City depending on traffic. A few exits toward New York and you will find all the dining and shopping your hearts desire. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its courteous staff and clean establishment. I have one serious negative and that's the streets and roads around the hotel, they are in very bad condition and need major upgrades because you will definitely damage your vehicle with all the potholes.

The Embassy Suites is typically my go to because it’s so close to family. However this time I was extremely disappointed as the elevator floors were sticky, the hallways were dirty and then my room was not fully cleaned. There was food on the floor and the bathtub was disgusting. The next day the elevator floors were still sticky and more of the walkways were just filthy. I was disappointed as I have never noticed this before. At breakfast everyone was pleasant and the service was great though.

We stayed at the hotel for a night with 2 small kids and I assume it may be do to an event, but our room was at the very end of the hall, on the second floor with a wall view, and a pool cleaning device by the window. even though it was facing high way as well, it wasn't too loud. now the pull out bed had sand in it, even a 1/8 of an inch stone. I wish we took a picture, but it is not something we considered doing putting kids to sleep. the pool was pretty disgusting. as others mentioned, cloudy water with stuff floating on it. on a positive side, 2 free drinks and nice breakfast with omelette station were a plus. i'm very conflicted about the hotel. a lot of positives, but probably wouldn't stay there again.

Heat went out 2am in the morning. My family spent rest of night freezing. Staff just gave us another blanket

Took a trip to NJ for my sons 11th Birthday this past weekend. This Embassy Suites in Piscataway was awesome. From the courteous desk attendants to the spacious King bedroom, to the comfortable bed, to the complimentary cocktail, to the wonderful full hot breakfast we had. The kids had a ball in the heated pool. My son had a great birthday! We really enjoyed ourselves and have planned to return in March for my Nephew's 11th Birthday!
