The stay not as great as I could expect. They allocated me a suite which was next to elevator and the whole stay I was there I kept hearing the buzzing of the elevator. I complained it to the front desk and the lady said they can’t do anything of that. I was with my family and they didn’t have any other rooms. They say its a KING and sofa bed queen but its more of QUEEN and Twin setup. I requested for hotel credit for the inconvenience I had the 2 nights I was there. Please talk to the hotel and if they can give credit back I would appreciate.

My family and I stayed here for a little weekend getaway. It was conveniently located near many restaurants, had a Starbucks in the lobby, and a little marketplace. Free parking was also a bonus! The hotel was roughly 20 minutes from NYC so finding an Uber was a breeze. The only downfall was the sleeping arrangements . We reserved the king room with a pull out couch (the description stated that the room sleeps 4). I was made aware at check in that there was no way both children (aged 10 & 13) would fit on the pull out. The couch was super small (twin size) so our second child slept on the couch mattress.

The gentleman at the front desk was amazing! Wish I got his name! So friendly and made my family feel so welcome! Nice surprise after a busy day out, to come back to made up beds! That so nice! Definitely will stay again!

The hotel itself is very quiet and clean. Good location. No tub in the bathroom with 2 small kids was rough. Other than that the room was nice. The friendliness at the front desk is severely lacking. Did not receive any info about the hotel or surrounding area during check in. Check out consisted of leave your key in the box. Nothing else such as did you enjoy your stay or have a nice day even. We recently stayed at aloft across the street and had a completely different experience with the friendly staff there although less kid friendly. The cleaning staff and staff at bistro restaurant in the marriott were very friendly and helpful.

The “double bed” for my two kids to sleep on was NOT big enough for two children. It was a twin with maybe two or three extra inches wide. With the thinnest mattress ever. And when we pulled it out there was trash all in the couch. Also, we booked the room for 4. There was one small pillow for the “double” bed. We booked the room because we liked the idea of having a separate space from the kids. Until we saw that we couldn’t shut the door because they had to walk though the bedroom to go to the bathroom. So, no point in separate spaces.

Hotel is located in a convenient location with several restaurants, Walmart around it. Complimentary shuttle service to/from the train station make to trip to NY very convenient. Staff are helpful and friendly. Room is clean and everything works well. Excellent choice for family leisure travel to NY.
