Service was below expectations for a Marriott hotel. Even though a King size room with sofa bed was booked for 2 adults and 2 kids, there was no arrangement for the kids to sleep. When asked at the reception, I was advised to take the bed sheet and pillows and make it myself. This is not what you expect when you get to a Marriott hotel after a long drive.

We were not told until the day before that there was no hot breakfast and no pool. We rented this property specifically for those things. I was just pretty annoyed by that. I skipped over many other properties who said their pool was closed and rented this hotel even though it was more expensive because of the breakfast and the pool. It was for a 10 year old girls birthday. We were stuck with kids in the room with not much to do.

One of the newer hotels in town located on North Atherton. Typical of Marriott properties,this hotel is very well maintained. One bedroom suites are spacious and nicely designed with one exception. No door between bathroom and bedroom means that when using the bathroom at night, light intrudes on sleeping spouse. There's room for a (pocket) door so I don't understand why it wasn't installed. Only other problem was the faucet in the bathroom. Water lines are reversed do right handle is hot, left handle is cold. Don't know if it was just our room or every room. Watch out if you have kids who put their hands under the faucet with out checking the temperature. Near lots of chain and location restaurants and a Yrader Joe's for groceries.
