Overall, the property is nice and our room was very clean. The indoor pool, however, is seriously in bad shape. Mold everywhere you look, crumbling mortar and tiles, piles of dirt in the corners that seemed to suggest the floor had not been vacuumed in years (not being hyperbolic here)! The kicker, however, was me noticing one of the submersible lights in the pool was not attached to its assembly, and dangling out of the socket by an open wire. Underwater. With kids around swimming. Pretty terrifying. That said, the bartenders were class acts and no real issues to report. Well, maybe one: no channels coming in on the TV. I reported to the front desk, they said they'd send an "engineer" to come up and take a look, and nobody ever showed.

This place is ridiculous. They were literally nitpicking things to bother us about . They are not family friendly at all either . The second we checked in the lady at the front told me if you don’t follow the rules we will kick you out call police and not offer a refund. At one point they told a child he can’t even sit on the furniture. They closed the tennis courts as well. The shower was broken . This place is not worth 400$ a night , and If you have a family go else where because you won’t be welcome here .

Were in Princeton for a family event. The Westin was very convenient and comfortable for a two-night stay.

The family in the next room has a dog that wont stop barking. I told the front desk and they did nothing! Also, the room phone doesn't work or front desk does not answer call. Not the typical Westin that I stayed at other places.

None of the promised covid precautions were adhered to by the hotel. The epidemic is not over for some of us. ! am still at higher risk and wish to avoid unnecessary covid exposures. We booked the hotel for two nights and requested (on app and in person) no housekeeping service. Lett room on the first day in the early afternoon. Behind my back the hotel room was cleaned (and my toiletries including my toothbrush touched and rearranged by the sink) despite the specifically requested no housekeeping. Staff members were not wearing masks in general, at front desk, at buffet breakfast, or in hallways. I mentioned the problem with the unauthorized cleaning at the front desk, and the next morning (our departure morning) the housekeeping staff was really on point - we were asked three times on Sunday morning before 9:30 am to specify the time when we were departing, including when my son was in the shower. A little housekeeping revenge there I suppose for my having reported them the evening before. Other minor safety issues as well (for example, sliding glass door was unlocked to sixth floor "balcony", had to figure this out and lock it to stop street noise from Route 1, would consider this a hazard for travelling with children.) Overall not a safe experience.

I loved the hotel itself but i have to say I’ve never experienced such terrible customer service at a hotel bar before. Me and my fiance came here expecting a great night and when we sat down at the bar i said hello how are you to the server (older white woman) and she literally replied “21?”with a nasty attitude. Extremely rude and unprofessional as if we were bratty children trying to get a drink. We are both 24. To pay $18 for a drink you would think it would be great experience. So of course we ordered one drink and rushed out and spent our money somewhere else. I was extremely disappointed. Everyone else was lovely at check in and check out.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. We stayed here because of their indoor and outdoor pools and our kids were not disappointed. In the future, whenever we have an opportunity for another weekend getaway, we will definitely consider the Westin Princeton again.

There was a huge Convention with families and babies. Hallways lobby and ballrooms were all filled with loud kids and babies. It was abnormally loud and hectic. Kind of diminished the experience.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. It’s perfect for both family and work-related guests. Manager Marcus Thomas was phenomenal. His professionalism, expertise, and welcoming personality are precisely everything one would want as the first impression of the hotel upon arrival. Truly a rarity to find a hotel and staff that is able to balance both senior level corporate professionals as well as families with young children, without either group feeling out of place or unwelcoming to each other. Excellent service!
