The staff were friendly and the property clean. No hair dryers in rooms which is fairly standard for twenty years or so now. Room advertised to having a microwave and it did not. No gluten free options at the “cafe” even though it was advertised as having them. Traveling with a child with an autoimmune disease where gluten can kill them is hard enough, but when something is advertised so we book it and then it isnt there makes it even harder. Not a bad hotel, just needs updating on the we site with what they offer.

It’s just dingy and depressing to stay here. I have family here and usually stay at the Doubletree which is $50 less, also dingy and depressing but cheaper.

Upon arriving we asked which ice machine worked as the one by our room was broken. Come to find out they were all broken. Also the fire pit in the courtyard was broken. And our bathtub was broken. It wouldn’t plug to stop the water. The thermostat was also broken in the room. Luckily maintenance was able to fix the part on the tub but why should we have to do that at 9pm when we are trying to bathe and go to bed. Very outdated and needs updated. The beds were super springy sounding and very uncomfortable. Felt almost like sleeping on the floor. My entire family got no sleep. The workers were very kind and polite and this is not their fault, it is on the owners. They need to update the hotel and make improvements. It’s 2023 and for the money we are spending on a hotel, it should feel like home away from home. This felt like we were camping. I am 6 foot 7 and the shower head was spraying me in the stomach. I had to almost take a knee to get water on my head. When I was standing in the shower my head was about 2-3 inches from the ceiling. My wife stayed at the courtyard by Marriott in Savannah GA several years ago and it was the most amazing hotel in the world. I thought the chain would follow suit with the super comfortable beds and updated rooms but I was wrong. I will go back to the courtyard in Savannah. Never again in Princeton. I rate this hotel a 2 overall only because the staff was friendly, helpful and they fixed the bathtub in a timely manner.

We had to move 3 times to get a room that was okay. Last room was over 2 hours trying to get a cable tv to work. No one told us there was no indoor pool or even breakfast. We had two toddlers to entertain without TV or pool that we anticipated helping us. The girl was constantly saying, she couldnt help because she was only on there. There were very few guests and i can see why...no service and no information given at booking. How are you supposed to know if they dont tell you. This was our big oovernight with our grandkids and it was a 16 hour drive through 5 states to struggle with our plans.

Just a quick overnight family trip, but they need to have better food options. Even in the world of GrubHub and DoorDash...room service is appreciated. Otherwise, the service was really good and prompt. The elevators had issues which made it troublesome, but sometimes that cannot be avoided and I chose safety first.
