The property had areas that remained dirty during my stay. Garbage in the hallways and by the ice machine left for days. The garbage can outside filled and overflowing with all types of filth. The bathroom shower was clogged. The hotel also had permanent residents not just one or two multiple families. It felt like an apartment building complex! Never again!

Booking went pretty good. Someone filled in at the desk and booked us in. The first thing I noticed was hairs on the bathroom floor and in the shower. I bet there’s was hair on the rug also but the rug was dark and wasn’t about to inspect it either. Also, there was dust on top of the pictures. I took 2 showers because the place made me feel dirty. The sofa had a few stains and while sitting on it, I started getting itchy. It got worst from there. Just before 9pm as I was dozing off, someone was entering my room. I thought we were getting robbed. My girlfriend started bugging out as I jumped up and got dress real fast to see what the hell was going on. The person at the desk book another couple with their kid in the same room I was in. I was so upset that I had a hard time getting back to sleep. In the morning my girlfriend and I went for breakfast and when we returned, we were locked out because the key rejected us from entering the room. When I went down to the desk to complain about the lock out and the uninvited guess from the night before, she called someone on the phone and had me there for 15 minutes until I said just activate the damn key so I can get my belongings. There was no sorry for the mistake they cause and they acted like they haven’t done anything wrong. I go to plenty of hotels and this by far was the worst experience anyone can endure and shouldn’t have to. Ever again and I should hope this review hits home with anyone planning to stay in Mahwah.

We arrived at 2pm to check in (before our concert) but we were told we could not check in until 3pm. So we came back after the show (1am) and did get our two rooms - but they were two floors apart and at different ends of the hallway (despite having put a note in requesting that the rooms be close to each other). We were lucky though - the family checking in behind us, with a reservation, was told they had no room for them (they sold all the rooms and couldn't honor the reservation). There were also told that they would not be able to speak to a manger until at least Monday (it was Saturday night). There was no offer of assistance to help them find another room or even recommendations on where to go - just "sorry, we have no room for you, please leave",

We had reserved a pack and play and called several times before arriving to confirm. Upon arrival we were told it would be brought up. At 8pm, still nothing- they told us they were getting one. At 9:30 they called us to say they were all gone. We pulled the pull out sofa out to try and make a bed for the baby and it was filthy. The sheets were used, crumbs in the bed. Food wrappers under the pull out. Really gross.

Didn’t get the room I booked, dirty flosser in cabinet by fridge, no bar and restaurant like it shows in the photos only on Expedia, staff didn’t seem to care and some were rude. Asked the kid when I was leaving to give me a receipt that I had a double queen instead of a single king said “we can’t print receipts, write you email down” never emailed it for me when I requested it urgently sounded like the couple next to me got the king bed instead. Also other customers had reservations online but there were no rooms available

Chose this hotel for the cool outdoor fire pit and indoor pool The fire pit was out of service the entire time. The indoor pool was being used for swim lessons for non hotel guests until 8 pm, making it too difficult to use with our children. The keys would not work on the side entry doors due to a glitch. The in theater movies in the room did not work nor did the lobby big screen TV/Movie area. The lobby fireplace was out of service for a day or two. Rooms are only cleaned every 3 days and only one small trash can in the bathroom, limited linens and towels. Pool area had no towels. Because we were traveling with our dog (one of the only pros about the hotel) with no other option, we stayed the duration without the use of these amenities. Pool should be reserved for guest use only.

The lobby is great. It was nice to sit by the fire. The pool area had a ping pong table the kids liked.

Stayed with family. It was pleasant. Swimming pool was a pleasant surprise because it wasn't advertised on the listing when I booked, however when we went to use it, turns out they have swimming lessons there. So it was a little awkward to use. Still, would stay here again if we're in the area.

I booked the accessibility room for my elderly parents visiting. The room had no TV remote and the heating wasn't working on one of the coldest days recently. It took too much time and convincing with the clerk to have them moved to another Accessibility room on another floor. Blankets are paper thin, having almost no weight to them at all. An extremely loud children's gathering of some sort was happening where children were running up and down the hallways which seemed to be Okay with the hotel staff.
