The Holland Hotel

Our family had a great stay at The Holland Hotel. Our beds were very comfortable, room was clean, breakfast was small but sufficient, and it was a short walk from the NJ PATH trains into Manhattan.

I recently stayed at The Holland Hotel in Jersey City for one night with my family. The hotel's location is fantastic, situated near the Holland Tunnel and within walking distance to Newport Centre and various dining options. The free parking and WiFi were very convenient, and the continental breakfast was a nice perk. Our room was clean and comfortable, equipped with a mini-fridge and microwave, which made our stay more pleasant. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. However, it's worth noting that the hotel does not have an elevator, which could be a consideration for those with mobility issues. Overall, The Holland Hotel offers good value for its location and amenities, making it a solid choice for a short stay in Jersey City.

This is a great option for those looking for a affordable, clean, and safe stay. We had kids with us and felt the area was okay for them. We parked by the Path and took the train into Manhattan from there. The breakfast is simple but actually better than we expected. The property is a bit dated but room was conformable and clean. We would stay again.

This is my third time staying at this hotel and I can't even begin to talk about the many wonderful things. First, the staff is always helpful and friendly, and everyone goes above and beyond. The rooms are always beautiful, clean and modern. I love the location of the hotel too, it's only a short walk to the subway with many great food options around. I have recommended many family members and they always enjoy the stay! I wish I could rate this hotel 10/5 stars.

The price was great and very clean. It is about a half a mile/10 minute walk to the PATH subway into NYC. The room needs more outlets. The breakfast area is too small, with not enough seats and needs adult yogurt not just kids.

My stay was absolutely the best. Almost made you feel like family. Clean, convenient and priced right. Thank you so much and would definately stay at again and recommend to everyone.

This place was an amazing find. It’s not perfect, but I needed an affordable place to stay at the last minute and this was a real safe haven. It was super clean and well cared for, and every member of staff I spoke with was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and had plenty of amenities. At one point in the hallway I realized there was a crying baby next door who I couldn’t hear from inside my room, so noise is not a problem. The only issue I had was with the shower; the water pressure was so low that it wouldn’t really come out of the shower head, so I had to take a bath. I haven’t seen any other reviews mentioning that type of problem so I assume it’s an anomaly, and considering everything this place has going for it, it wasn’t a big deal for me. Very glad I found this hotel!

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. The hotel is in a good location and was reasonable priced. It is an older hotel but it was clean and suited our needs. If you want your room to be cleaned every day you need to request it. The garbage cans aren't very big but there is a bigger one in the lobby you can use. Overall, we liked it and I would recommend it to others. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Just beware - it is a 13min walk to the PATH station so if you have small kids or elderly people with you, you might want to take this into consideration.

Its a nice property and the location cannot be understated. There is a massive mall a block away, and the PATH train is 2-3 blocks away. We stayed here for two nights prior to a cruise out of Bayonne. Having the mall and transit options was awesome - we made use of both. PATH gets you to Manhattan in 2 stops. The mall is filled with shopping and dining. Behind the transit station is the waterfront with incredible views of NYC. The breakfast is OK. The area is very compact and busy with patrons. Lots of options though, and you can sit outside which is nice. Its a busy lobby. Room plenty adequate for a family of 4.

Perfect! Stayed two nights with my family. Everything was fantastic! Free parking, breakfast. Room was clean, beds comfortable. Location was convenient for catching the Path train into the city. Definitely will be back the next time we visit NYC.
