We were put into a room that due to someone violating the non-smoking policy in a neighboring room resulted in our room reeking of cigarette smoke. I requested that the staff resolve my situation and was offered a room sanitation that meant I needed to vacate the room for 2 hours. I returned 3 hours later and the smell of smoke was worse. Clearly housekeeping did nothing during my required absence and when I requested another room with 2 queen beds (same as before in Rm 817) I was told only 2 singles was available. Besides having to split up my family members, our clothes stunk of smoke for the remainder of our stay. We were there for a wedding, so needless to say this stay was an utter disaster.

Hotel is good. For what I paid I will prefer another bed and not a sofa bed for the kids. Kitchen I haven't used. Breakfast not to many options and need more chairs and table. Small breakfast area. Beautiful view from the Lobby and Rooftop but they have only few rooms with river view. Good parking for $27 a day.

My family traveled to New York from Texas for a long-planned family vacation. We booked our hotel 9 months in advance. It was considerably cheaper staying in Jersey City than across the Hudson in Manhattan. The hotel access to PATH train across the street, and one stop gets you to the World Trade Center. About five stops the other direction gets to midtown. It was very crowded and the hotel breakfast had trouble keeping up with the crowds. There is not enough seating in the breakfast area and not enough kitchen staff to keep up with demand, though they worked very hard. Hotel policy is to only clean your room every three days, though you can request it more often. We were on the 10th floor, and the band on the rooftop played till midnight. If you are an early to bed person, they will keep you up, even though there are 4 floors between you and the rooftop bar. The staff were friendly and accommodating and worked very hard to take care of the full house. That said, they are inadequately staffed to fully take care of a full house. If you stay here at peak travel time such as between Christmas and New Years, be aware that trash piles up, breakfast will be picked over, and you will wait a long time for a table or have to take your breakfast back to your room. I would have expected more for the price we paid which, even nine months in advance, was more than double the price in non-peak periods.

We booked a two night stay for my family (husband two kids and myself) and we had a great time. The proximity to the PATH train which is the one you take to get to New York is a stone throw away! Absolutely convenient! There's also a Whole Foods store not too far from the hotel. The room we got was super clean. The breakfast was great. I wish they had an omelette station but that doesn't deny the fact that they had everything else available. Security is also very good. The Lobby where you check in is on the 13th floor! They also kept/stored our luggage for us the day we arrived so we could go on with our vacation plans in NYC. We got back to the hotel after 7 pm and we were able to check in without any issues. To sum it all up, we would stay here again if we ever planned to visit NY and NJ again.

Amazing access to the PATH. Spacious room. Loved free breakfast. Pull out bed mattress the worst I’ve ever encountered as a family of 5, mattress needs replacing. Kitchenette a bonus although we didn’t really use it. Would stay again but might bring a blow up mattress as the pull out couch mattress was that awful.

This hotel was great. We went to here for the weekend and for the wife's birthday and had a great time. Visiting NYC was quick and easy. The ferry service outside is in walking distance. Definitely the place to stay if you want explore NYC and enjoy a nice hotel in a convenient spot. Will recommend to my friends and family.
