SpringHill Suites by Marriott East Rutherford Meadowlands/Carlstadt

At first we were thrilled with the room. However, when I went to get into bed and pulled down the blankets, all I could smell was urine and it was STRONG. We ended up having to share a bed that didn’t smell. It was too late for me to wake up and have my child move rooms. I’m very disappointed.

There were some things not stocked at the breakfast that my children would have preferred (chocolate milk, apple juice didn’t work for the 2 days we stayed there). Pool hours end a bit too early to enjoy it after our daytime activities. Our children aged 3 and ) cried because the pool closed right when we got back from supper

Place is nice and clean. It smells good too! Great for family getaway.. we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is good and staff are friendly and professional, however hotel definitely need some improvements. 1. The bathroom door is sliding type with partial open/gap on both side when you close the door from inside the bathroom. This is NOT good when a grown up kids with the family or non couple are sharing the room. 2. Breakfast is just OK but there also hotel can do some improvements by adding more choices and the quality. Just providing basic breakfast is different from the best breakfast . I am pretty sure it is possible if management has that wish to serve the BEST for their customers though they are occasional visitors. But they are the one recommending the hotel for others. Overall I the hotel is good for Families, couples and Business people.

Dirty…. Bathroom sink leaked, toilet paper holder broken, hair on the bathroom floor, dirty floor. No safe. Alarm in room went off in middle of the night waking kids.

The rooms are clean, updated and spacious. The kids loved the pool and i loved the gym & bed after. I also loved that it was close to everything. Will definitely come back again.

I thought this hotel was very clean and new looking. Don’t waste your time with the breakfast unless your fine with a bagel, very bland eggs and undercooked sausage. Really couldn’t complain because it’s free! Other than that me and my family were very comfortable. Although the hotel is EXTREMELY CLOSE to American Dream and MetLife Stadium, there is nothing walking distance as far as eateries or gas station to grab food or snacks, you’re pretty much stuck with limited selection $5 sodas and $3 chips in the lobby. Very convenient to get to NYC bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Would definitely book again.

Comfortable place to stay at while visiting American dream! Very clean and spacious area. Although, pool is small and wasn’t very sanitary but over all loved the room and staff was able to make accommodations for our family to stay!

Kim at the front desk was very professional and even helped me get 1 kid that was in a car for 3 hours under control the hotel was very clean and close to the mall and water park,the pool was awesome would highly recommended we’re planning a vacation in July and will be staying here again
