Holiday Inn Hasbrouck Heights-Meadowlands, an IHG Hotel

The property seems to have been recently updated and has a modern look and feel. Room was large and quite comfortable for a family of four. Restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. Only complaint I would have is that the air conditioner was loud but that seems to be the case with most hotel rooms.

Too noisy kids on tge next room up were running around like 2 am. My wife and i did sleep well!

From the moment my family and I stepped on the property we were greeted with smiles and top notch customer service! Thank you Moe, Joey, Glorimar and all the other members of the staff that made our stay a true pleasure.

So, it was a so so experiance for my family and I. This was our first family trip, and we were primarily going to be spending that time at the American Dream Mall for 3 days. This hotel was located 11 minutes from there and was along a strip of endless dining options. There were signage around the hotel stating the hotel just underwent a multi million dollar renovation, which i would call more of a face lift then renovation. There were multiple areas along the corridors where the rug was not aligned and just torn, and my 3 year old, myself, and my 15 year old all had tripped in several different spots. There was this weird light lingering wetish moldy smell that lurked the hallways. The water pressure in the bathroom faucet always sprayed like a firehose, and the tub spout plumbing was sticking out of the wall. The towels both in the room and by the pool were very small. For bedding, the pullout couch bed was very uncomfortable, so my son just slept on the couch closed instead. The blankets were more like sheets, as the cover that was in the duvet was very thin and slid around inside the duvet cover all night so we had to keep rearranging it. The pillows were very comfy and the AC worked great. The mini fridge barely cooled our water after several hours. The pool area was really nice and modern. Didnt spend much in it because of kids splashing us constantly but thats no fault of the hotel, more so parents not watching their kids. I didnt eat at the hotel but did try

The hotel was clean and the room we were in was large enough for the family. The decor was dated but functional.
