Grand Hotel of Cape May

This is my 3r time in this Hotel. I always had a good experience but this time unfriendly, unprofessional staff named Karen used an inappropriate tone and behavior when she knock our room threating my family and me with the police, and recording our conversation with her cellphone without my consent. She accusing us for noises and dogs barking that was not coming from our room. We went dinner and this was the surprise when we came back. I invited her to come inside the room and check for everything that she was accusing but she denied to enter. This person needs to be trained in order to work with hotel costumers. I don't think Im ever coming back to this hotel. Beside the experience with the staff they also need to improve the pool cleaning, the water and walls of the outdoor pool was very oily from sunscreens. The kitchen appliances very limited and I suggest to buy your own coffee for your stay because coffee was very bad flavor and quality.

First stime staying here and we loved the amenities. Beach passes, pool bar, indoor pool, and the room having a kitchenette were all wins for a family with small children

Very comfortable environment, quiet, clean , lots of things to do in the area few blocks down as in golfing , arcade , beach access right across the street . I will be returning with my children’s for the summer .

We came in for coast guard graduation and I called the hotel and asked if we would be able to check in at 3 pm. I was told “Absolutely “ when we arrived, we were told our rooms were not ready and it was 4 pm. We were attending the coast guard dinner and since we didn’t have a room ready, our family of 8 had to get dressed in the Wawa bathrooms. We spent 500 dollars and was severely angered that nobody in the whole hotel was concerned that people’s rooms were not ready. Will never come back to this hotel.

Everything was great at the hotel. This was our second time here this year and will be coming back again. Everything is walkable (within a mile). The beach is literally across the street. The rooms are big enough for a family and beds are comfortable and clean. My only complaint is the indoor pool is always so moist in the room. Like there is literally water everywhere on the seats, floors, walls and I noticed mold On the ceiling. If the pool was ventilated better I would be giving the hotel a 5 star review. I’d also love to see updating fitness and arcade . The brunch with Santa was great and lots of options. Loved our stay and will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand! Can’t wait until next year. The only thing I will change is getting a room on the top floor. While the ground floor was convenient with children, I could hear a lot of people partying. And although I’d like to be partying with them, I have a baby.

Very friendly staff. Clean room. The only downside is being do large you can hear people talking on the room above you and the doors opening and closing all around you. The pool is great for kids .

We had gone to Cape May for a baby moon. The staff is exceptional and the hotel is nice. I feel the breakfast at Hemingway’s was better then the dinner. The room was nice except the mantle when the tv is was crooked and needed to be leveled. The room was also aesthetically pleasing; however, the bed was beyond uncomfortable and my husband and I were up every 45 minutes because we couldn’t get comfortable. I debating leaning a day early due to the uncomfortableness of the bed but we would not receive a refund so we stayed.

We love the grand hotel we come every year! Room was beautiful and conveniently located across from the pool and beach. Restaurant was so accommodating with my two small kids and food always good. Will return next year again!
