My family really loved our stay here and hope to visit again soon.

This is a great place for couples, but in my case, I can say that wasn’t the best experience because I have kids and there is nothing other than a pool to entertain our little ones.but overall I think is OK

The room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the live music at the lounge bar. The Rock Spa is amazing. Cost for self parking was very reasonable. It was an anniversary getaway without the kids. we thought we’d treat ourselves to an ocean-front hotel this time. We’ve enjoyed our stays at the Golden Nugget and Borgata before and we thought it would be a nice change. The biggest downside to our visit was some other guests. There were many children there, just being kids, but like I said, we were expecting an adult weekend. Kids were everywhere —the dining areas, walking the aisles of the casino, in the elevators—I was even woken up by a screaming baby one morning. This is apparently due to the proximity to other resorts with indoor water parks and other amusements. This is April, before there’s anything open on Steel Pier. Also, on our last day, the hallway stank of weed despite signage that said it was not allowed.

Was good, the only problem was the next door room that had a baby that never stopped crying, fortunately the problem was resolved

Had a great weekend with my adult kids.. was a great choice!

While only in town for family emergency. The convenience and proximity to AtlantiCare Hospital was appreciated. Did not get to enjoy any 'resort fee' amenities but room was clean, floor was quiet, view was amazing. Live band in restaurant were good. If this was a place I frequented I would definitely stay at this location again.

This was our second stay at HRAC. We love the decor, atmosphere and service/staff. Will definitely return. Among all the positives, there are 2 negatives to mention. Number one, noise from the adjacent room at 7am. We stayed up much later than our old bodies should and planned to sleep in, but that plan was squashed by a group (kids & adults) yelling loudly with no regard for others. Sounds petty, but were sooo looking forward to that rest! Our rooms did have a set of interconnecting doors, so im sure that didn’t help. I eventually banged on the door and that quieted them down for a short while. But not long. Maybe next time we’ll ask for a room without the inner door. Number 2 negative was the smoke in the casino and bar areas. Seemed worse this December trip, than on our first stay which was in April. Maybe there were just more smokers present this time. We enjoy drinking at the bars, which I believe are non-smoking, however sometimes we couldn’t tell that. Also, we don’t know the layout of the HR very well, so we enjoyed just exploring aimlessly and often found ourselves passing thru another smoking section. Clearer area markings would have helped us avoid the areas. Maybe better hvac, physical barriers or even separate “rooms” would help. We’re sure the studies show casinos make more $ allowing smoking than if they didn’t. But we, who enjoy the entertainment but aren’t big gamblers, are not aware of any AC casinos that don’t allow it…we may check into that next time.
