Hotel was nice, quiet, staff was friendly and accommodating…. Facilities were good, kids and I loved the pool and hot tub… overall was a good stay and would recommend to anyone..

It was a comfortable room. The beds were comfortable. We had a refrigerator and microwave which was nice. The walls were thi ln so we could hear people moving and talking in rooms around ours. Other than that, used the hot tub and pool which was nice until the kids came. Had everything we needed and not far from where we needed to be. Also, dog friendly which was nice to be able to bring my dog.

"The front desk lacks manners and struggles with customer service. The staff often intrudes into guests' personal matters and asks inappropriate questions. The rooms are in dire need of updating, and the phone in our room was not working. The older lady at the front desk was intrusive and gave orders to our children. The overall atmosphere of the property is unwelcoming and not family-friendly. If you have kids and want to use the pool, this is not the place for you."

I love the easy check in process, the hotel was spotless, staff was so kind and helpful, they offer happy hour drinks (free for the kids), lots of parking close to the door, easy access to done local restaurants

I have never had such poor customer service, awful cleaning and a staff that disregarded the customers' issues. My stay was for 2 evenings. My 1st room was not cleaned. The bed had filthy sheets that had not only makeup on them- but hair in them as well. I went to the front desk- the manager gave me excuses of the "one washing machine was broken" and "theyre short staffed" (NOT excuses for a room NOT to be cleaned and dirty sheets to be left on) I was given the room next door as I had to be at a wake and they "didnt have anyone to clean the room" at that time. 2nd room smelled musty- but I had zero time to go back to the front desk. The bathroom was dirty. (multiple hairs on the toilet) Mold on walls/ceiling in the bathroom. But more disgusting was the significant amount of fruit flies in the room. I left a complaint at the front desk that was ultimately ignored. I had a funeral to be at in the morning and was going to be gone all day. Upon my return late on the 2nd evening- the fruit flies were out of control -I took care of at least 25 of them between the 2 nights. (I have pics of them on towels, mirrors, desk- etc.) When I checked out- I told the young man at the desk about the stay and was returned a dismissive reply/head tilt of "awww- Im sorry- that's too bad" (I kid you not) In short- I should've read the bad reviews. I had to book this 4days prior due to the death- this wasnt a planned trip. I spent well over $730 total for both nights. Absolutely atrocious!

Hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and filling. The kids loved the pool. The staff was really helpful. Overall a great experience.

We went to Portsmouth for a family reuniand And most of my family stayed in expensive hotels My daughter and I said I feel so glad we stayed at the Hampton it was awesome

I love that Hampton is so pet friendly. It really makes a difference when you can vqcation with EVERY member of your family

BEWARE!!!! STOLEN JEWELRY!!!! We came here for a short get-a-way because we heard it was a beautiful area and we were enjoying it until this happened. We asked to have the room cleaned once! I had a jewelry pouch in a zipped travel bag and now some pieces are gone! Everyone is defending the room cleaner and hotel! To everyone’s point that this has not happened here at this hotel before, and that the room cleaner has never done anything like this before, well, this has NEVER happened to us before! We have been married almost 40 years and have traveled many times, and this has NEVER happened to us before. all I know is that I had the jewelry when I got here and now it is GONE! Diamonds that have been in my family for over are 100 years, GONE! I am totally devastated and now have this to remember Portsmouth NH. my heart is totally broken over these diamonds that have been in our family for over 100 years. I was entrusted with them for our family and now they are gone! It may seem like it just money to someone, but these were so much more for our family. Now, there gone and I will never get them back!
