We were visiting family in Carson city, did not have a room and found CC to be fully booked. Found HGIR had rooms, was close enough, and had a POOL. We made the booking, loved the room and enjoyed a morning swim. Pool is small, but was just right for this trip. Staff was great, welcoming and helpful to no end.

Being charged for parking and adding a tourism fee. We were there visiting family, not tourists. I can see charging for parking in a downtown area, where parking is limited. Probably won't stay there again because of the extra fees. We paid over $400 for 2 nights.

I booked this property for 2 days. Due to all of their problems, I left 1 day earlier – wasted $250. Too noisy The property is located next to a busy street/intersection with frequent motorcycle riders at night. It is also quite close to the airport. The drape on the window is a single pane which does not muffle external sounds. To add to that, gests/kids are running and screaming in the hallways after the midnight. Also, lots of dust in a room. Useless staff Due to the noises in the hotel, I woke up and walked down to the reception at around 3 am and asked whether they have earplugs. They didn’t. Then I asked whether they know any currently open store where I can get it. They replied that everything is closed. And that is it. Totally unhelpful. I ended up searching myself and driving 15 minutes to get the stuff. Incompetent staff When I arrived, they tried to give me a room for disabled. I am not disabled. However, they were pushing it onto me and saying that all other rooms are already taken. Then after half an hour, turns out they do have my room that I booked. Incompetent dining staff The dining staff (for breakfast) does not know what they are doing. It takes for them half an hour to serve you a meal, and then another 15 minutes to bring you utensils. They were asking me, a customer, to open doors for their waiter thinking that there is a security lock. I checked, their security lock does not work (or was not active at the time).

We were there for 4 days for a family celebration. The restaurant was closed the entire time and the manager was rude, abrupt and when we asked about our options
