Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Minden, an IHG Hotel

Property was clean ,staff was nice at check in but didn’t get to check in for 30 minutes past check in time which was inconvenient due to needing to clean up before an appointment. Booked thru Expedia & other family used Hotel .com…. 4 different bookings & names..Be aware we were charge when we got to hotel a fee for 2 nights that was to be reimbursed after stay , then charged the remaining fee of our stay which added up to the total charge of stay, then 2 days later after check out found I was charged for the total stay again and so was others of our family. Which caused a variety of financial issues and over drawn issues . Called hotel will take 4-5 days to be taken care of. So be aware and talk to clerk when charging you possibly if it’s a 3rd party error that the hotel is accidentally charging again…

This property has always been a favorite with my wife and I due to it's location and room condition. The rooms have all the amemities and the bed and shower are excellent. We have children and grandchildren nearby.

The room was clean and spacious. Linens are clean and comfortable. Bathroom was maintained and has unlimited supply of Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and lotion. Good breakfast selections (my kids like it). Overall, we are satisfied.

I stayed in a Suite with my family as we visited extended family in Neveda. The hotel looked very nice, the staff was nice and there was warm cookies at night and free breakfast in the morning which was nice. When we got in our room, it was wasn't really a Suite as much as a room with 2 beds and a pull out couch, but it was still clean and comfortable. The thing that was very frustrating was the whole hotel seemed to not be insulated properly, because you could hear everything going on in neighbors rooms. We had trouble one night when our neighbors were very noisy and trying to get my 2.5 year old to sleep when the walls are paper thin is very hard. Also the piping was probably done with pvc piping instead of copper because when someone was taking a shower nearby we could hear it very loud, and I heard dripping constantly through the night, at one point I thought the sink was dripping, but it was in the pipes in the wall. I wish I could give this hotel a better review because of the nice staff. Next time I go visit family I will staying elsewhere.

My family and I wanted to do a quick trip to Tahoe and needed a family friendly place to stay the night... Minden is about 30 minutes away from Tahoe and we liked the idea of not staying in the touristy hotels right off the lake. Anyway, We've stayed at Holiday Inn Express locations in the past and are always impressed... the Minden location was no exception – beautiful Amenities & a nice quiet location. We'll be back soon!!

Hi, The Hotel was easy to find. The Staff were Friendly Cheerful and helpful. The Accomodations were wonderful, the kids had a blast at the pool, the entire place was clean and well kept and breakfast was pretty good too! Thank You for a great stay!
