Comfortable and accommodating for our family stay

No complaints about the room. Very comfy bed and the complimentary toiletries were above average. Good breakfast too. We were awoken by kids screaming and yelling. I called the desk and the clerk said he would investigate. The screaming continued so I got dressed and went down to the desk. They were in the pool and were told to tone it down which they didn't. The desk clerk told me there nothing else he could do. The pool was open until 11 pm and tough luck. This was after a day of travel and getting up for another full day on the road. This same thing happened to us at another Holiday Inn several years ago. Teens in the pool at 1 am, yelling and screaming. The desk clerk did nothing so I sorted them out myself to their shock. We did get a discount after talking to the manager in the morning. So no more Holiday Inn for us. I doubt the head office will care.

Very disappointed that the pool was out of service. I know things happen but we booked this hotel specifically for the pool and hot tub for the kids to swim. Extremely upset that it was not working and the hotel desk clerk seemed to not care at all. There should be some sort of compensation given beings jor all the amenities were available

They were having a pool party for kids... but once in our room we didnt hear a thing. Blinds were heavy and didnt let in any light at all. We were on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was.decent, but not extraordinary.

I don't know how this place has any positive reviews. I've stayed at various hotels around the state every other weekend over the last 10 years, for either work or kids sports travel, and I've never had as difficult of an experience I've had with this hotel. I arrived late on a Friday night with one very sick child and another who needed to catch an early morning ride with a friend to make it to a basketball tournament in Bozeman. I asked if they could give my daughter access to dry cereal or something else that was easy to give us....before she was picked up in the morning (10 minutes before their breakfast formally opened), and this request was refused. Then, 3 weeks later, I came across an unexplainable $250 fee while looking over my bill. I called today to inquire about it, and they claimed it was a pet cleaning fee because they found "dog toys" and "dog hair" in the room. Not only do I not even own any dogs that shed, the non-shedding dogs I own were at home with a pet sitter, which I have proof of. I called 3 times today to try to explain that there was no way I had a dog in that room and I was hung up on each time. The third time, I was told they were going to call the police, so I called the police myself. The police officer has been helpful, and I'll continue to pursue this issue, but I hope no one else has to waste their time or lose their money by taking a chance at staying here.

Wonderful stay, clean and comfortable! We were able to check in early which I appreciate so much after a long day with 4 kids who need to get their energy out in the pool, so that was helpful!

Nice clean rooms. Best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel. Will definitely stay again and will refer this hotel to friends and family.

It was such a nice hotel! The room was great for a family with two queens and a sleeper sofa.

I loved our big family suit!! It was roomy and very comfortable beds!! Loved the blackout curtains!! It is ridiculous for the cost of one night over $200!! We would have stayed longer if the prices weren't so high!! Love the fresh breakfast buffet and the kids. Love the pool!!!

Though in the middle of renovations, this was a great place for my family of 5 to stay at during our time in Helena.
