Residence Inn by Marriott Springfield

We only stopped for the night on our way through but the room was clean and the breakfast was great. Just what we needed with 4 kids.

It fit our family of 5 great.

The staff when we checked in was abrupt and rude. We were charged extra for parking but never asked if we even had a vehicle to park there(so this is just an extra charge it would be almost impossible to walk here).It isn't valet and there more than enough space unlike down town Chicago, L.A., or N.Y.C.The following day we asked for extra towels and blankets and had to give an in depth explanation as to why our family of 6 couldn’t use 3 towels and 2 blankets for all of us.The lady at the front desk was also very rude. The only poliet person we encountered during our stay was the lovely person during breakfast. They also had a huge leak in the lobby during our stay. As someone with celiacs they had yogurt, 2 kinds of individually wrapped cereral and fresh fruit that you can eat, possible eggs if you're willing to risk contamination. She couldnt tell me if the oats were gf or not so I stayed away from them.

The balcony was my favorite. Sipping coffee and watching the sunrise was beautiful. Only Con was the coffee wasn’t my kinda strong (I’m from texas everything is bigger and bolder LOL) kidding!! I just made that joke with my fiancé and he thought it was hilarious.

Beautiful and well accommodating. Soacious and perfect for guest groups or families. Very very clean

Loved our stay here! Loved how easy it was to park and bring our items in to our first floor suite. Room was clean and well equipped. Our kids said the sleeper sofa was a bit uncomfortable and we could have used pillows for it. And the TV remote didn't work the best. But those things wouldn't keep us from coming back. The best part was the breakfast! I can honestly say, I've never eaten such a good hotel breakfast (for a place in this price range).

Wasn't impressed. We needed a larger room since I had family with me. There was no housekeeping throughout our stay. There was mold on the ceiling in one of the bathrooms. When I asked if the front desk could help me register for rewards for Marriott, I got the impression that I was being rather inconveniencing. For the price we paid, plus it being Marriot, I would have expected better.

Very accommodating for a large family. The suite had many amenities.
