Homewood Suites by Hilton St. Cloud

The rooms were spotless and the staff was so kind. Breakfast was pretty good all four days. The pool was big enough to play with the kids and the hot tub was the perfect temp.

Traveled as a family of 5 for sports. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room had some obvious signs it wasn’t cleaned well. Breakfast was just “ok”. The kids enjoyed the waffles. The pool was also a hit with the kiddos and the hubby and I relaxed in the hot tub then we grabbed snacks from the snack area. Pricy but convenient to take back to our room! I would stay here again.

We had our sons Groomsdinner at one of the conference rooms that was open to the courtyard where they have a basketball hoop and bean bags. It was great that we could let the kids go outside to run off some energy while the adults visited. The wedding party stayed at the hotel as well. We liked that there was a full kitchen in all the rooms along with a full refrigerator and dishwasher!

We stayed for one night at this hotel while in town attending a service for a family member that had recently passed. After long day of travel from South Dakota, we arrived at the hotel after 10pm for our stay and immediately greeted by a friendly young lady who was very helpful and kind. Once we got to the room, we opened the door and immediately noticed a strange odor so turned on the fan in hopes it would help. (We both agreed the smell was similar to what could be that of a floor being mopped with dirty water but never were we able to place where it was coming from or what it was.) Due to the late hour of our arrival, we were too tired to call down to the desk to complain. We simply crawled into bed to rest up for the service we were attending in town the following day. We kept the fan on all night to circulate the air and in all honesty, we both slept great! The kitchen, bathroom and living room appeared to be clean. The bed was comfortable. However, we were never able to circulate the odor out of the room. When we checked out the next morning, we forgot to mention the odor to the front desk in our haste - but once again the staff was very friendly and the lobby, hallways, restroom next to the lobby were all neat and tidy. Despite the strange odor we experienced, we would give Homewood Suites another opportunity to host our stay. It was close to everything we needed - and the friendly smiling staff was enough to overlook what we believe to be an isolated incidence.

Pretty decent hotel, but the hideabed/couch needs to be replaced. It was supposed to be used for sleeping and we couldn’t even use it. The couch sinks and bed springs were sticking out of the bed so our child had to sleep on the floor. We paid for a room to sleep 5 people and it did not do that.

I took my family here to go swimming. The pool got “contaminated” and they told us it was closed for days. They offered us to go across the street to a sister hotel only to find that their hot tub was out of order as well. You can hear everything at this hotel. We booked a suite only to listen to the people above us very late into the night. No sound barrier. Was not a good experience and we requested a call from the manager and have not heard anything.

The stay was great for our group of girls. Close to the area stops we wanted to make. Convenient to get to. Great for a larger group stay. The pool kept the kids entertained. Breakfast options were fantastic!

In town due to family member in hospital. Had to stay over and decided to stay here. The lady and young man at the front desk were awesome! So pleasant and understanding, due to us getting in late and being very tired! Thank you very much!!

Overall our stay went fine. The room was a nice size and the beds were relatively comfortable. The room wasn’t super clean- lots of dirty finger prints on the door frames and a slightly funky smell. The pool worked fine for our needs. Biggest complaint is that our room was at the end of the hall which was next to an exit to outside and that door was highly trafficked most of the night and unfortunately it slammed every time it closed. This made for a tough night sleep for my family next to that really noisy door.

Our room was clean, daughter's room had a horrible odor. Feces floating in the pool, had to drain the pool, so grandchildren could not swim Saturday night or Sunday morning.
