La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Duluth

We have stayed here a few times as our child goes to UMD. Lovely, helpful and perky staff.

Th were short black hairs in the corners in the bathroom. The shower was tricky. Hot and cold reversed and the pressure was pretty low. Only other thing was the insulation between rooms and hallway, which made for exceptionally loud hallways especially when kids are running up and down and some screeching children. Other than that the stay was fine. Thank you

I would've given a 5 star review, however there was one worker who obviously hated working there and was very rude on multiple occasions to myself, my kids, and other guests. The worst was how he treated a guest whom had a service dog, cussing at the guest, which was extremely unnecessary and unprofessional!

The motel was great! The staff was all so friendly and helpful! Breakfast was delicious and always kept full! The pool and hot tub were great! Also, the fire pit outside was so nice to sit down and relax at after a long day of walking. The room was exactly as explained on the website. Made for a great family vacation!!

We stayed here for two nights on a family trip and the room was very clean and tidy. We would stay here again.

The hotel was easy to find, off a major road. The room was fine and the breakfast was good. We were disappointed that the pool was quite small. A grouping of families was there with several children which dominated the pool.

The hotel cleanliness and amenities are on the low end of average. We were really disappointed how much this hotel has gone downhill since our last stay in 2017. We could hear movement from the room above us each night over our children’s sound machine. There were some questionable areas that didn’t look like they were clean. Our one year old accidentally took out the air filter- which was extremely dirty and needs to be changed. The memorable moment, was when the male worker yelled at us while we were swimming in the pool. He told us that there will not be any towels for anyone getting out of the pool as the rest were in the wash. This was after house keeping took all our towels and didn’t return them. This same worker was also rude to us at check in and made us wait 15 minutes while talking on the phone.

We stay here often. It’s clean and quiet and close to shopping and our child’s medical appointments.
