Pros: - gorgeous property - harbor view rooms have a beautiful view - property has a high end appeal - Hot tub was busy, so we did not partake, but I love that it's outdoor. - super comfortable beds - very close to Amsoil Arena Cons: - bathroom had a sliding door, with gaps in which you can definitely see into the bathroom. Not a big deal for us, but might be something for others to keep in mind. - toilet paper was equivalent to what you would find at a sketchy gas station in the middle of nowhere - wall heating unit made an annoying, intermittent high pitched buzzing which kept me awake. This was NOT normal. If it wasn't intermittent, it would have been fine (I think). We couldn't keep the heat off bc it was minus teens with windchill outside. - complained to front desk staff the next day about the noise which kept me up, and was offered breakfast vouchers but we already had plans for brunch with family (which is why we were in town). They said they would talk to a manager about knocking some of the cost of the room, but they didn't knock off a cent. Overall, I cannot believe I paid > $300 for a "high end" room at a "high end" property with a wall heating unit that would be better suited for a Super 8 motel. Very surprised the management didn't take some of the cost of the room off, as I was completely exhausted the next day bc typically I sleep like a champ, at home and pretty much anywhere. Do better, Pier B Resort!

Nice facility, great views, good locations. Bathroom was a bit odd with no door to close shower and absliding door to the bathroom felt a bit uncomfortable for the family. Otherwise the room was great for what we needed.

Lots of activities outdoors for the family and the open seating behind the hotel with a view is fabulous.

I liked everything they had for us to do. Bed was uncomfortable and the grass in the back dogs went pea and pooped on kids played on. A designated area for animals is needed.

This used to be a wonderful place to come with kids . But our last two experiences have been disappointing. The last time , when we came for Bentlyville, we had to wait hours to get our room ( although we came at 4 PM), until we had to change our kids into snow suits in the lobby. This time , we were told to show up for the Buffet on Sunday morning , we showed up at 9:00 to be told that there was no buffet , just ala carte. Then it took them an hour to get our food and my wife had to eat her yogurt with a fork! Thereafter , we could go back to our room only around 10:30. So, we could not have our daughter’s birthday part, which was the reason for our visit in our room . We were curtly told that we had to vacate by 11:00 and we could not have 15-20 mins extra before checking out . So we had to have our birthday party in the lobby . On neither occasion was the fault ours . I think the success of the hotel has gone to their heads . Next time, we will stay in some other place which respects its guests .

We have stayed several other times pre covid. We were surprised that they got rid of the text messaging system to alert you that your room was ready. That was a very nice convenience. As always the grounds and area was very clean and inviting. The one thing that I did not like were that dogs are allowed on the property. My husband and I used the hot tub and a gentleman came in with his dog. He did not allow him in the water but it sat right by him as he daggled his feet in. Personally I think that was just gross and it certainly was a buzz kill for us. We left immediately. Not all guests are dog lovers! We also did not like the idea that could be everywhere. What about children and adults with allergies? Our other issue was we ordered the "Romance" package because it was our anniversary. There was some sort of break down in the communication and it was not in our room upon arrival. They immediately fixed the situation and did not charge us but it was a bit disappointing. Like my rating shows it is still a beautiful location and very unique to the area. We just unfortunately with this stay had some "hiccups"!
