The room was perfect for me and my family we had an accessible room due to my leg so everything was great. Would stay again it was a great location for our weekend.

First day their kids wanted to swim. No pool towels. Asked front desk they said oh sorry they are being washed… ok fine I’ll use the towels in the room. Oh but guess what we then don’t have towels to shower with after the swim or in the morning. Had to ask for towels in the morning, fine all good was given some towels. Left towels on floor in bathroom for cleaning staff to take like you do for pretty much EVERY hotel. Went to do things around town. Came back rooms a mess still wet towels still on floor beds not made. Oh look at the random sign in the door. They only do up the rooms once every 3-4 days… seriously? Yeah never gonna stay at an AmericINN again.

It said breakfast including but when I want down there at 8 there wasn’t anything to eat ! They need to make that place bigger and more food ! Disappointed! The kids when I stayed there was bad ! Running up and down the hallway and was being loud at 930 and night !!! It wasn’t a bad place but I will not be coming back!

Great no frills hotel- no complaints! Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was decent, hotel was clean and welcoming. Our family travels to Duluth often and will consider staying here again in future!

I really enjoyed the breakfast available in the morning. The decor of the lobby and breakfast area was very nice, and the beds were comfortable. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

It appears as if they tried to recently remodel this hotel. On the surface when we pulled up and entered the lobby it looked like a new hotel. Once we got into the room we quickly realized this is an older dirty hotel. The shower/tub had residue all over the bottom of it. The room had a smell. The kids swam in the pool which was full of hair and dirt in the bottom. We have enjoyed AmericInns previously, but this one was disappointing.

Beautifully redecorated. Very clean. Staff was so helpful. Had 2 small children and an infant and they went out of their way to get us an early check in so we could get the kids down for a nap.

Although it was no fault of the hotel, there was a child 2 doors down from us who incessantly cried both nights, making it hard to sleep. The location of the hotel was very convenient to the highway and numerous places to eat/shop/tour. The room was updated at some point because the beds are new, the bathroom had new sink/toilet/shower. The bathroom could use some paint and new gyprock. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was a nice green space behind the hotel to let your dog go to the bathroom and picnic tables to sit on. I would stay here again, if ever in Duluth. Thanks for the stay!
