Holiday Inn Express & Suites Allen Park, an IHG Hotel

This hotel exceeded our expectations! It was bright and clean and smelled fresh. The staff was extremely friendly !! Breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety! kudos to the staff, every employee was so friendly and welcoming! The lobby was spacious and accommodating for big groups! Wish the pool was bigger and not so humid and hot, only complaint. Great location too! Highly recommend Midway sports they have go/karts, mini golf, batting cages, etc. the kids and adults loved it!!!

Hotel was clean and nice - breakfast was super and was open past 9 AM which we appreciate! Wish it had a hot tub but the kids enjoyed the pool.

Staff at the property were excellent. We were greeted in the morning during breakfast by staff and told that if we needed anything to let them know. It was a very nice gesture. During the early morning hours of our second night, a fire alarm was pulled by some kids playing a prank and went on for some time. Long enough to get us out of bed to see what was going on. That would have been fine, but after we went back to bed once everything was clear, it went off again about an hour later. This also prompted us getting out of bed to see what was going on. Not a great nights rest. Again, the onsite staff were very helpful / friendly and handled the situation well. We were instructed to contact the manager, who was offsite, with concerns. I did so, and have yet to hear back. That was about 3 weeks ago now. Needless to say, I am a little disappointed.

The room was nice but we had ants. The pool wasn't as warm as i thought it would be and warmer and there was kids playing football that took up the whole pool not paying attention to the little kids. I complained at the front desk and someone came down but didn't say anything to them

Nice property but crumbs in pull out sofa and stains on carpet but very family friendly so not disappointed with crumbs and dtains

Stayed here for a weekend for a kids sporting event & it was very nice.

The pool area was very nice and the children enjoyed the pool. The room was clean and bed comfortable.

Stayed with family and overall the hotel was good. Clean, comfortable rooms with a decent breakfast. Only downfall was the pool area had no air circulation…very hot and humid and not comfortable to be in.

Perfect hotel for families. My family is 5 ,and we had enough space in our room. Good breakfast and pleasant atmosphere. Only one concern is wired smell in lobby and hallways. I recommend this hotel for people. If I will come to the city one more time I will stay in this hotel.

Fairly new construction, rooms are nice, bathrooms clean. Pool was perfect for the kids after a long day of shopping.
