Hampton Inn & Suites Allen Park

It is convenient. The staff there seem to do a good job. The room air conditioner didn't work and was very loud. On other stays I've had tubs that wouldn't hold water, broken items in the room like lamp shades, and blinds that wouldn't close. Also the clientele in that area seem to be very noisy at all hours of the night. Mostly children running around rooms and up and down hallways. They did have breakfast to go this morning before the actual breakfast time. That was a nice surprise. Last couple of breakfasts I have had there we're good except for the meats that could have been cooked better or longer. Not unsafe food, but breakfast meats shouldn't be steamed rather than cooked in my opinion. For the price I could expect a little better as far as property preparedness and breakfast choices

I actually liked this place. All in all, it's relatively nice. But between the piles of vomit in the parking lot, screaming/obnoxious/unsupervised children at the pool (granted, not entirely the hotel, but I'm not here to review the parents of the kids), and small, but annoying things like no shampoo or conditioner in the room, it levels things out a bit. Probably wouldn't stay again with all the options, which is a shame, because it's kind of a nice place. All the other reviews about loud guests, nonsense at the pool and/or parking lot, all that business? Unfortunately, it's pretty much true. Probably not like that all the time, but it was for me.

Big family trip for 2 nights. Everything was perfectly fine. Super friendly staff. Super clean. Breakfast was great. ( seemed to be ran by 1 woman) working her tail off!) ALL the chairs at the island were terrible! Need replaced.

Customer service was great. Everyone was welcoming, and accommodating. Overall the stay was good and clean. Only issue was toilet rim wasn’t clean and noise. I guess the walls/floors are thin. I heard the people above me, who apparently had children. A lot of thumping around in the late evening. There’s a train track behind the building that passes in the early morning and I was awakened in the middle of the night by some hanky panky from the guess that shared a wall with me!

No one was they at the checkin desk. I ended up calling the hotel and someone finally came out. She said she forgot to put a sign up??? The refrigerator wasn’t plugged in so I didn’t trust our leftovers. The pool was freezing and my grandkids couldn’t get past the second step. They are 3 and 5 and love to swim.

I’ve stayed here before and the front desk staff are always the best!!! It’s so quiet and peaceful. My family loved the breakfast options that they offered. This is my getaway when I don’t want to be at home in the city. Nice local bars and restaurants in the area.

It was nice and quiet for me and my children.

The room was still dirty with kids fingerprints, broken window blinds, paper towel was stuck in the corner ceilings. Gross
