Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott New Buffalo

The staff is really nice, however the stay was horrible. We checked in late and the sofa bed had dead bugs under and the sofa bed mattress was a hot mess. Since it was late, the front desk staff could not change it. The next day manager came and made the change, we wanted to leave but there was no where in New Buffalo to stay as everything was booked. We were told that we will get full refund from Hotels.com, still pending that. But manager also stated that he will let us stay the 2 extra nights and give points. Once we checked out there are no points. Maybe it was my fault as I may have heard him wrong. I do not recommend this place for families who will use the sofa bed.

It was a quick easy experience especially with kids

Overall, a fine hotel in good shape. The suite was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. A few minor issues on our end: - All the coffee in our room was decaf (this surprised us in the a.m. Yes there was coffee downstairs, but I wasn’t ready for that). - one of the TV remotes didn’t work with the TV. The remotes were programmable but the two TVs were different brands. One worked okay (but not consistently) and the other just didn’t. - even turning the tv on manually showed the TV wasn’t connected to anything All of the above were minor issues for our one night stay. Overall, though, totally fine for our family of four.

Great hotel! We got a studio with 2 Queens and a pull out sofa. Plenty of room for us and a kiddo.

Very nice family vacation. The hotel was welcoming, clean, and provided a good breakfast.

This is the second time we have stayed here in two years for a short three day family vacation. It’s clean and well kept. My kids loved the pool. The breakfast isn’t super exciting, but I find that the case anywhere with Covid. It’s a quick drive to the beach and town (5 minutes). Everything you need is on the same road. We stayed in a suite and it was perfect for our family of five.
