Hampton Inn Muskegon

This is a basic hotel with a mediocre breakfast dated rooms, good enough for an overnight day, but I wouldn’t want to spend more than 8 to 10 hours here. The pool area is nice for children

This is a pet friendly hotel which we liked even though we left the pets at home this time. There was a dog barking in the hotel for a while but it wasn't as loud as the baby crying. Didn't keep me up but something to consider when you visit pet friendly places I guess. The staff was incredibly friendly. The breakfast was very good. And no complaints about the hotel room. Very comfy bed! Would definitely stay again.

Nice rooms for family weekend

We booked 3 rooms for 3 families (we had 2 kids with us).. but at the time of check-in at , around 8.45 PM, the hotel staff said they got over booked and have only 2 rooms..there was no coordination between Expedia and Hotel on booking confirmation..nither Expedia nor hotel informed us that they are over booked and they did not have enough rooms for us...we had to search another hotel and have to pay higher rates than what we booked through Expedia...even worse the hotel staff said please dont trust third party like Expedia for hotel bookings..request to hotel and Expedia please dont do such thing with anyone for some extra bucks.. the only nice part that the person at help desk of Hampton Inn proactively enquired in near by hotels and gave us some options.. i see $1 got blocked from my card saved in Expedia not sure what will happne now..will they charge me for the mess they did ??

The staff at the reception was very nice, but breakfast and cleanliness were a real disappointment. When we came to breakfast, there was no butter and the honey was put out in cardboard boxes. They did not even have any herbal teas for my kids. Lots of water from the pool in the elevators.

We booked a room with a pull out sofa, they had no sheets or pillows to accomodate this sofa. When I asked the girl working, she said, "they took all the pillows and I don't know where they put em." This left mne with a few questions. Who are they? Why do you not know where to get more pillows for your guests? I ended up going to target and purchasing pillows for my family to use so we could sleep like humans and not inmates. The breakfast was good though, so you got that going for ya.

The pool and hot tub was great-should be open later. The staff is amazing and friendly. The rooms are good, but a slight sign of wear, especially the mattresses. We were directly across from the maintenance room and the door was open the whole time and supplies in the hall (hopefully just a week long temporary thing-but a little strange). Very very safe area. No residential nearby, and plenty of chain stores, restaraunts, and a first class golf SIMS at end of road. Breakfast spread better than most like-size places. Me and my family would stay again.

This was in a great location and the front desk staff were very friendly. We did request housekeeping during our weekly stay but nobody came to our room. Our small trash cans were overflowing by the end and we would have liked more towels for our family. Other guests were very loud at night but after we politely asked them to be quiet they were.

The hotel and staff were great! Not so great were the rude selfish people and their kids partying, singing, screaming, slamming doors and laughing all night. Michael handled them well, but how selfish and rude people have become. Breakfast was great and the bed was very comfortable.

Water in the hot tub and pool was a bit murky, but they had just had a kid's birthday party so it was too be expected. Shower and jacuzzi tub were dusty but not dirty. Bed was clean and comfortable. Great room. Took notes so I could request the same for our next stay.
