We enjoyed staying here as a family. Good selections of breakfast items for everyone. Easy to check in and out. Overall pretty quiet besides the loud bass on someones music at times. No hot tub though in the pool room. Staff seemed a little distant most times. Not a smile or good morning or anything. Was not liking how uncomfortable the beds were for being a newer hotel, but loved the amenities in the room.

Hotel was very clean and in good condition. Breakfast had good assortment of offerings and nicely presented. The overwhelming negative. The hotel had rented rooms to parents and dozens of grade school children in athletic program. In a room on first floor children on floor above us jumped on the floor all day and nite as well as running in hallways day and nite. In reading hotel reviews later we saw similar comments made on other sporting team visits. For a room in the $300 per nite stay the hotel needs to roam the hallways and be prepared to tell parents to manage their children or depart early.

We didn’t like that the room was not clean. Our toddlers found an old eaten apple behind the nightstand that was close to the couch. My other child found a pretzel. Housekeeping wasn’t good.

Stayed with family and we were very comfortable with the spacious rooms. The amenities like medium/large fridge, microwave, plates, silverware, dishwasher, etc. really helps with little ones. With a dog that gave us the room at the 1st floor so it was super convenient to take the dog out. Indoor pool and gym are pretty good and clean This was our 2nd time at this property and may visit again next year during Tulip time.

This was an excellent place to stay! Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, updated, and spacious. The fitness center was clean and updated. Breakfast was very good, with ample variety. The only disappointment for our family trip was the pool was quite chilly and there was no spa pool to relax in.

We had a 6 month old baby get ACCIDENTALLY get locked in a room. The key malfunctioned went down to get Michael on 3rd shift, he could not get the room open!! He "tried everything he could" so i told him im calling the cops for help, his response " well who told you to leave your daughter in the room alone" he was very rude when we were in a very bad situation. He kept making smart comments about how could we have done that. Regardless of how it happened he should not have been rude and making very stupid remarks, and this hotel has no way to get into their room if the power fails on the door. There is no "key hole" on anyone of the guest doors. So they remembered case of emergency call 911 because this hotel can't help you and will make you feel like crap about yourself for a simple accident..........

After a very long drive, we were very unhappy to hear that our room was not ready, and front desk had simply no idea when it would be ready. We understood the lack of employees, but we were particularly peeved by all of the families coming in and going straight to a room while we sat and sat (well over an hour and a half). Front desk was quite cavalier about it. When we finally did get in, my daughter and I decided to use the pool to relax while my husband napped after the long drive. Forget it. There had to have been at least 20 small children taking up the entire very small pool and area, it was ungodly hot in there, and there was nowhere to sit, even if we had wanted to put up with the heat and deafening noise. The other issues: one of our beds just simply collapsed (and we are not big people!!), the sheets didn't smell very fresh (although the towels did), the shower had long, black hair on the walls (none of us have long black hair), one of the elevators wasn't working, and the breakfast was incredibly mediocre. This was not an inexpensive place to stay at $259 per night!!!!!! When we spoke to the manager, he was very nice and spoken, but he could do nothing to comp us for anything since I (unfortunately) booked through Hotels.com. Never again will I do that!!!!! When going to Holland, MI, do yourself a huge favor and stay elsewhere!!!!
