SpringHill Suites by Marriott Grand Rapids North

My husband, 2-year-old daughter, our dog, and I stayed two nights over a weekend in a king-bed suite. Our daughter slept great on the trundle bed that pulled out from the couch, and I highly recommend it for young children because no bedrails were needed. Air conditioning worked great. The fridge was a little run-down but worked, and the microwave and wet bar were fine. Plenty of storage areas in the room. Loved the TV options with all kinds of streaming services and even YouTube. The free breakfast was pretty standard but plentiful enough with a couple hot options that did change slightly from morning to morning along with the usual continental breakfast food. The pool was small but well-maintained. It was closed briefly for the pool ladder to be fixed after some kids were too rough on it, but it was fixed quickly and we got to take our daughter swimming both days. We also were able to get a late checkout for 2pm which was very helpful to allow our daughter to nap. The 24-hr mart was small but had some decent choices. There's a movie theater and tons of restaurants and stores nearby also.

Room was clean spacious. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Great for a family stay. Tons of dining and shopping options close by. Absolutely met my expectations. Definitely would stay there again.

This is a great hotel if you are attending an event at fifth third ball park. It is only minutes away, and surrounded by dining and shopping. Also, we were traveling with a newborn and they supplied a crib, outlet covers, and bath supplies.

My family and I were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was clean, confortable, spacious, and much better than many of the others we've tried. Having little ones, the kitchenette is a must for those 3 AM bottles, so our choices are limited. However, we couldn't have been happier here, and will return again.

This hotel was the cleanest I've ever stayed at. I am a clean freak (that was the ocd comment) and I bring my lysol with me to every hotel. But, this hotel was very very clean and I didn't feel like I needed to clean it a second time after the maid did. It was also comfortable and the breakfast buffet was great. There were a bunch of loud teenage boys playing football in the parking lot one night, but we called the front desk and they took care of it right away. We stayed with our kids and the extra space, microwave and fridge made things more convenient. Great place....we'd go back again.
