Marv Herzog Hotel

A clean, comfortable hotel near everything. Nice hot breakfast and evening beer/wine/snacks included. Lovely staff. Great view off the rear patio. No pool, no playground, no kids. Very relaxing.

Amazing staff. The front desk could not be friendlier. They made me feel like family walking through the door. The chef came out multiple times to check how everyone was, with the biggest smile. Vary clean, and room was big and open. We had a balcony River view. It was beautiful. Perfect location. You can walk to great resteraunts and stores. Also, loved the lobby. I took a seat in a big leather chair with the complimentary beers they provided, and listened to the beautiful polka music piped through the hotel. Loved it❤️

This was such an awesome hotel. The breakfast and evening snacks were by far above and beyond. This place really makes you feel like your family. Thanks for an amazing vacation!

Great location. Our family has lived on a family farm for over 200 years. Current generation comes every June for a family reunion and maintenance on the homestead. Marc Herzog family has known our family through many generations. When we checked in we were not given an option for maid service. On day 2 I took our accumulated garbage to the front desk, not knowing what else to do with it. On day 3 I had to go ask for fresh towels, room coffee, cups, etc. Happy hour was wonderful. Breakfast was good

We liked everything. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would absolutely recommend it to my family and friends.

Visiting for a child’s birthday trip. We all had a great time, rooms were clean.

Every staff member was kind and courteous. The balcony overlooking the river was lovely. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. They had dispensers in the shower for shampoo, etc., cutting down on plastic waste. The evening wine and snacks were a nice addition to an already very pleasant stay. The location is perfect for walking to the downtown shops. We'll be back again with family.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Marv Herzog Hotel. In fact, we’ve talked about possibly making it a yearly tradition. The interior was clean and tidy and the staff was personable and welcoming. The breakfast was wonderful! My favorite aspect was the size of the hotel. It is a smaller standalone property but is still part of the Drury Inn family. So there are good amenities such as a snack and drink time and the beautiful outdoor patio, but it’s quiet for those looking for that sort of stay (which we were). Our room had a balcony facing the water, park and Bavarian Inn Lodge. It’s a small balcony but I loved it! My only issue was the parking situation. It is a garage beneath the hotel. My suggestion would be to drive a car or small- to mid-size suv as it can get tight. Plus there is a major blind spot when entering or leaving the garage. The steepness of the driveway is a bit much especially taking into account the amount of space there is. Again, I can’t say enough good things about this stay. We can’t wait to go back!

The property is beautiful and so very clean! The staff were very courteous and helpful! The breakfast is okay, nothing special, but much appreciated. I contacted the property ahead to ask for a pack and play for my baby, and it was all set up in the room when we arrived. We truly appreciated having a ground floor room close to the lobby but still at the back to be more private. The hotel is really clean and definitely matches the other reviews I read before booking. It is also within walking distance of most things in Frankenmuth. So glad we decided to stay here!
