Bavarian Inn of Frankenmuth

Wonderful place to stay with families or couples.

Our experience was that the hotel is currently having an issue with ants. Crawling in from all directions we had to be careful not to let our infant twins crawl on the floor. We told the hotel about the ants. They moved us upstairs and the ants were present in that room as well. We dealt with a manager named Kelly that was extensively unfriendly. This unkindness was not our experience while staying in the hotel in 2022, and 2023. We had requested some compensation, and they were not able to provide us with any because our booking was through hotels.com and was non refundable. Thankfully hotels.com recognized my 8 year membership and assisted in what ways that they could. Hotels.com phoned the hotel and spoke with Kelly and they were met with the same aggressive response that we were. This hotel is usually fun, and the Zhenders family is quite hospitable. Hopefully one day we will be able to make it back under different circumstances, when the hotel maintenance is completed and the infestation of ants has been dealt with by proper exterminators. As well, the expansion of the water park.

Great stay with the kids will be back!

The Bavarian Inn was gorgeous with so much to do! My family of 5 with different ages had a blast! Even my two year old had plenty to do! Amazing.

A beautiful place and lots of things for the kids to do. The rooms were very quiet and was peaceful sleeping. We loved that it was in walking distance to shop. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place to take a family, parking is a problem because of construction but will be amazing when finished

Parking was very tough, but once parked, you can walk everywhere and go through the covered bridge to more shops! The place is so so cute and would highly recommend for kids and even teens. So much to do! The hotel even has water slides and so many arcade games! It also has putt putt and karaoke!! Great for families.

The Bavaraian Inn is a nice place to stay for families visiting Frankenmuth!! However the new construction is taking up a significant part of their parking lot and that was a definite struggle.

It is an older property but it is well kept. The kids liked the two watersides. The arcade and restaurant are very overpriced.

Thought the property was non smoking except there was a lot of smoking in rooms that even thought legal in Michigan should not had been taking place with kids around.
