My family has stayed at this hotel many times and we will return in the Fall. Frankenmuth is a beautiful small town and so many shoppes and restaurants are within walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful, as well.

Our room was not equipped with any extra pillows or blankets/sheets for the pullout couch. The staff delivered what they could find which was great except the blanket was a like a thin sheet material. The hotel could invest in something better for a “blanket” for the pullout couch. My children were cold. We stayed Friday night so Saturday morning the kids swam after breakfast. My daughter found a sock at the bottom of the pool which matched another sock that was in the corner under a table. The garbage was overflowing in the pool area. Clearly it was not cleaned up.

We were given room directly across the hall from the elevator, next to the pool entrance and next to the lobby - the worst possible room you could ask for which in my opinion should be available only if any other rooms aren’t available. All the time we could hear elevator traffic, kids screaming in the pool until 10:30pm and starting at 7am people getting their breakfast, I learned my lesson for the future, never settle for less than average especially when it costs $200+ per night

The property never got the booking from Expedia, so checkin took an hour. The room was pretty nice and reasonably priced, comfy bed, but there were families running the hallways hours after quiet time was supposed to be in effect, so that part wasn’t great.

The staff were absolutely incredible! We have a young family so we booked the two king bed suite. Reasonably priced and was so spacious! Worked perfectly to have the bedroom separate from the sitting area/kitchenette. The pool was wonderful for our little girls and the breakfast was fantastic! Jodi went out of her way to make our morning experience (which with a little started at 6am) incredible and was so friendly and kind with our 2 year old! Overall an incredible stay, we will absolutely be staying there again, as we visit Frankenmuth annually!

A very nice hotel located right across from the river shops and a short walk to the Main Street shops. Breakfast was very good and had some nice options. The cinnamon rolls are delicious. Our room was very spacious and the only negative thing I have to say would be the pull out couch was very uncomfortable when sitting on it as well as very bad when used as an extra bed for the kids.

I paid extra to have a nice room with a big tub and i was right across from the pool. It was noisy nonstop until almost midnight eventhough kids were to leave the pool by 10. Nonstop yelling and noise in the hallways and i was right outside the lobby so they would have seen and heard it and did not stop or control it. I wouldnt put an upper cost room across from the pool, gym and elevators, not peaceful at all

Frankenmuth is always a great place to stay while on our family vacation. So many things to do and great restaurants within walking distance of the Holiday Inn Express.

Great for families. Decent pool and breakfast included always appreciated. Nice big room for the 6 of us. Close to town, and easy to walk to and from.
