Courtyard by Marriott Detroit Farmington

Children loudly running thru the halls and took over the pool area. We could not enjoy ANY of the amenities like the pool or hot tub or fitness center due to kids playing on the treadmills with wet swimsuits and barefoot. We called down to the front desk to ask if there was any chance of being moved to a different area or floor. All rooms were sold out, understandable. When we decided to unpack, we found the sheets were not that clean. Found lots of hairs on the comforter, sheets and pillows. At this point we’re just tired and irritable and just want to sleep. The large group stayed at the pool area and fitness center right up until it was time to close them up, thus ruining chances for any adults to enjoy and have an ounce of privacy. Really disappointing since we booked the property bc if the amenities. I’m not talking 5/7 kids.. I mean 12-20 of them literally filling all empty space with kids in the pool, fitness, lobby, and computer area.
