Very rude staff at check in. The lady seemed very irritated and was very short with us. We were just arriving and apparently there had been a lot of kids at the pool and it needed to be closed. There were a lot of little ones present in the lobby area but they all seemed well behaved. It just rubbed off on us when we arrived I guess. Maybe the front desk is understaffed.

We love staying there when we visit family. My grandkids love the indoor pool. Food is usually very good. Only complaint is the game room. Several of the machines don’t work- take money but don’t work properly.

Disappointed that they didn’t do breakfast this morning and also no outside drinks..? Also pool looked and smelled like they dumped bleach in it to try and clear it a little as it was kind of dirty looking. And sadly it was supposed to be a king size bed but me and my two kids barely got so I’m pretty sure it wasn’t bigger than a queen

This is our go-to place to stay when visiting family in Templeton. Each time we stay everyone is friendly and efficient. The only very minor complaint is there is no free coffee in the lobby (you have to pay for a Keurig coffee) so you’re at the mercy of the free room coffee which isn’t terrible. If you have time, check out Garden Kitchen in neighboring Templeton. Great coffee, awesome baked goods, and super fun gifts.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are nice and the staff is very friendly and very helpful. The restaurant/bar on site has amazing food. I'm happy thatvwe decided to support a local establishment instead of staying in a big chain hotel. We will definitely book here again on our next visit with family.

Charming hotel staffed by pleasant and efficient employees. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the small arcade room for the kids. We would stay here again in the future.

The Colonial is great and has served me and my extended family well over the years. Only complaint, and not sure there is a way to fix it due to occupancy volume or lack there of, but the bar and kitchen being open later than 9pm on a week day would be very beneficial for people with late flights and late arrivals to the hotel.

nice hotel, wouldnt allow us to checkout only 30 mins later though. sort of dissapointing with kids.
