Courtyard by Marriott Boston Westborough

Clean, safe, quiet. Would have been more kids-friendly if it had a pool.

Checking in was easy. Staff was friendly. Issues with human waste in pillows in first room. Was provided an alternative room so we could repack and move at 9 at night with tired kids. Once resettled stay has been fine but management promised to follow up by noon the following day and we never heard anything more. Would have found another hotel but for graduation week and very few options. Will not stay here again.

Overall we had a great experience from check-in to check out the room was very clean very quiet we had enough space for everything they thought of everything when with traveling families I can't say enough best stay ever. We were there for a church convention the other members had stayed at a different hotel and they ended up getting moved to location 20 minutes farther away than they needed to be this hotel kept our reservation and we had no problems so I'm very grateful. I do have to add that it mentioned that the breakfast was free but it was actually a charge. If I had to change anything it would be a little bit more information as to the area, the room, what's available and what's not. I couldn't find that in the room I wasn't given a some sort of welcome packet to kind of give us that information I wish that it was available but needless to say, we had avery good stay thank you.

Very cute and up to date little apartment but the beds were so hard and uncomfortable and they need a new couch. My family and I ended up leaving a day early and book a Marriot in Westborough.

Property was fine. Staff was friendly. One of the front desk staff said our room number out loud while checking in, which, as a former Marriott employee, is a no-no. For the safety of the guest, you are not supposed to do that. When we arrived, there was a smoke alarm directly above the bed. I fought the urge to dismantle it to see if there was a camera inside (the location is weird and people can be as well), but slept terribly knowing my family and I could possibly being nefariously spied on. We did not have any spare toilet paper so had to ask the front staff for that. Super low start on tissues so we had to ask for that as well. We did not get our room cleaned between the days of our stay. Shower was leaky. We had a patio door that was unlocked from the time we got there until we noticed it the next day.

This was probably my worse stay at a Marriott. I have stayed at many courtyard Marriotts, and have never had such a terrible experience. My cousins stayed in the same hotel for the same weekend, we both booed through hotels.com. My cousin's family got free breakfast from the manager, when I asked I was told "We made a mistake in the morning, cannot repeat the same mistake". That was the end of that - no point arguing with people who have zero customer service skills. My toilet in the room kept making a water leaking noise every time it was flushed. I asked for it to be fixed - they said they did, but again it was never fixed. The room had a constant "dampness/sewage" smell. Overall - a horrible stay, would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
