Hampton Inn Boston/Marlborough

Best breakfast I have had anywhere. We travel a lot for tournaments and this stay was no different. Having a good breakfast available before early games was game changing. Staff was friendly. Someone seemed to always be wiping something down, vacuuming common areas, or just overly concerned with the state of the facility. Our room was nice, just what we needed. The TV is a bit cumbersome to navigate, felt very mid 2000's. Water pressure in the shower was mediocre / showerhead maybe? Pool area was AMAZING!! They even have a dedicated knee-hockey / recreational room for the kids! Would defintely rebook here in the future.

We took our children so they could swim in the pool. It was clean and well appointed. We were the only ones there. They loved breakfast, it had many options and was very tasty

We were really impressed with this property. Free, fresh coffee service in the lobby all the time, a gorgeous looking indoor pool we sadly didn’t have time to enjoy, and a pretty decent (nothing spectacular but still good) free breakfast buffet were the highlights. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was everything we hoped for and more. A sports team of nine-year-old boys and their families were making their presence quite known when we checked in, but the check-in desk thankfully put us far away from them. Will definitely look for this hotel again next time we’re in town.

A weekday business hotel and a weekend youth sports families hotel, this facility appears to do both well. They do need to replace or fix some king size mattresses-we did get one that sagged in the middle as others have reported. Otherwise everything was clean and in good repair. Nicely appointed and maintained breakfast, even with families of youth hockey and soccer players on the weekend filling the breakfast room. Very nice pool, heavily used by the athletes on the weekend. Great location for food, fun and travel. Before booking for a weekend stay, ask about youth sports groups before booking if you’re looking for a quiet place. Lots of kids excited for their tournaments can be a bit boisterous. And if you are one of the youth sports families in town for a weekend tournament, this is a great choice.

It was a last minute booking on my part. But besides the slightly confusing check in directions online it was easy as can be in person. From the night guy with blue and navy blue long sleeve sweater was amazing as well as the morning guy with the baby blue long sleeve( I think made cole or corn) don’t remember. Also have to shoutout the older would and gentlemen with the beard for breakfast kept an eye to make sure everything was stocked as well as gave a final call for people like me that lost track of time to see breakfast time was over. Love the property as a whole!

This hotel stay was the worst I’ve ever had! Had to walk through a bunch of people smoking weed outside to get into hotel. Parking lot had no lights on- parked in pitch black lot- used my phone light to see. Check in guy was nice but again didn’t tell any info on hotel or breakfast in the morning or where my room was. He was on the phone and just wanted to get rid of me to get back on his phone call. Doors slam loud if you don’t shut them gently. There was a hockey tournament and the hotel was filled with hockey kids. Majority of these kids were not very well behaved, took over elevators for rides and wouldn’t get out. Trying to get a seat or food for breakfast was a task. All night long doors slammed so that woke you up. Talked to a hotel worker about the kids and they said they tried to talk to the parents but they didn’t care and they started yelling at hotel staff. So nothing was done about these unruly kids because the parents didn’t care. Room and bathroom was ok- not as sparkling clean as other hotels I’ve stayed at.

I have only used Hampton Inn for my overnight stay for the last 20 years. The room they gave me was an adjacent room that was very small almost for children. The beds were full size, I have never had a full size bed at Hampton always queen. There was no microwave and each night there were groups of people staying and overextending their welcome at the breakfast area.

We stopped with the family on our way back from New-York. Was clean ans staff friendly. Good choices at the breakfast. Pool is also decent, nice place to stop.

I didn’t like how some of the guests were loud at 10PM when my kids and I were trying to sleep.
