Hilton Garden Inn Boston Canton

One day family event.

The location is conveniently close to my family and amenities. The venue and self parking were great. My room was quiet, clean, and comfortable.

The room and pool/gym were great. The front desk staff were oddly rigid and sneaky. I was told no late checkout was possible while the person next to me talking to a diff front desk staff person was told 1pm. I called her out on this and she said they requested it earlier than me and the hotel is SO booked. False- I could see many rooms were empty, not even a weekend. So I ended up staying another night and asked at 6pm the night before for a late checkout the next day. They acted like that didn’t exist until chatting behind closed doors and then allowing it. I was told my keycard would work until 1pm. Instead the card did not work and the TV began shutting down every few min starting at 11. I informed them on my way out that I felt very rushed and pushed out. There was some odd stuff about the rates they offered too- saying Hilton online was cheaper than they could offer. Huh?! I would return for the pool - my young kids loved it. But the shady front desk was not cool.

I had booked three nights through expedia, it was my sons tournment, we lost by second day i asked to be reimbursed and they said no since i booked through expedia and not trough Hilton. We stayed and decided to see colleges next day.That night there was a wedding, we were on the fourth floor and over the courtyard. They were outside till 3:30 am . I called the front desk three times, we had a five hour drive home and wanted to leave at 6:00am. Also the previous night my son and two other boys went swimming in the pool. The woman at front desk told them to get out which was fine but said she wasnt leaving till they dried off. When my son got out of the pool,she looked at him and said " Your tan lines are weird." He didnt tell me till following day. I find it a bit strange that an adult would wait for kids to dry off and then make a comment like that.

Hotel has a nice indoor pool to keep the kids occupied during downtime. The location is close to highway for easy access. Too bad there arent more restaurants or attractions in close proximity.

I reserved two rooms for my family of eight. I requested either adjoining rooms or at least to be next to one another. This reservation was made months ago. My family was split on two different floors. This was incredibly inconvenient & should have been a ground ball to keep our family relatively close to one another. Huge disappointment.

I was a little disappointed as I picked this room weeks in advance as I knew the holiday weekend would be all booked up. And they didn’t even have the room I picked and no one called me in advance to tell me that particular room I selected was not available at their location! They waited till we arrived to tell me that my room is unavailable and gave me a smaller room to accommodate my family. At that point I couldn’t go to another hotel as every hotel nearby was all booked up for memorial day weekend. I had to take what they had available, we were all tight in one room and I got two roll away beds at No cost but that was it no free breakfast nothing. I just wish someone would have checked their system ahead of time and advance they didn’t have the room before we drove 300 miles so we can make other accommodations for my family.
