Hyatt Place Boston/Braintree

The staff are the absolute best. They treated me like family.

Very nice hotel. Close to Adam’s transit station. Good breakfast. Biggest disappointment was pool hours 9am-8pm, my kids were disappointed after a hot day in downtown Boston and the prospect of a pool to cool off in.

This was a great place to stay with kids. There’s a mall across the way and there are walkable dining options. So easy and convenient. The staff here is super friendly and helpful!

It's an old property. Needs updating. Pillows were horrible. But, it was convenient for our needs. Complimentary Breakfast was respectable. Lots of kids. Must have been sports teams. Noisy.

We traveled during Mother’s Day weekend and they decided to service the pool which was therefore closed to guests but apparently open to babies and toddlers. Strange. I forgot my yoga mat and they asked me to provide a label to mail it. I think they should have taken that upon them to show their customer service. Breakfast was lacking in quality. Paper plates, plastic cups and plastic cutlery. Mediocre and not good for the environment.

The room was clean and quiet. Staff was wonderful and friendly. I will recommend it to my friends and family for sure.

I arrived at the hotel on time and my room was not ready I had to wait two hours because they allowed late checkouts. Then my room was never serviced the next day I arrived back to the hotel at 730 pm after visiting my sick mother and found my room not cleaned . I did bring it to the attention of the staff and they ignored it. I always stay at this hotel when visiting my mother and never had an experience like this. It was loud and noisy when kids running in the hallways at night while I was trying to sleep and this was at 11 pm. I was never compensated for the inconvenience. No apology at all. Then another night music playing at 1:00 in the morning. This is wrong and was wrong.

We found it to be a nice hotel. The room was ok the biggest issue is having 2 double beds in the room. Doubke beds are hard to sleep comfortable with 2 adults. It said it was a newly renovated room but I'm not how newly it was renovated it seemed as though only parts of the room had been. The shower in the bathroom made very funny noises and really didnt have much preasure, along with the grouted area was not very clean and needs a good scrub. The couch that makes into a twin bed was super uncomfortable for when you sat on the couch it sank in. The breakfast was good. I was a little disappointed at breakfast when i heard another guest ask for some help with cutting up her toast (was obvious she waa handicapped and unable to use one arm) and was told by the attendant they couldn't help because they can not touch a guest food. Would have been if they had found someone to help her instead of ignoring the issue and making her breakfast experiece uncomfortable. My 9 year old child and I helped the lady so she had a better experience. Its the little bits of help that set an experience above others. I waa suprised to find that the pool was only open until 8pm and it says it is heated and its not very warm at all. The 2 times we brought my daughter down to the pool there was something going on with the pool. 1 time it was having more water put and the other time it was being cleaned with the machine. Those seem like things that should be done once it is shut down at 8pm.

I had a staycation with my family and was really pleasant. The breakfast pretty good and the kids enjoyed the indoor pool. Definitely will recommend it to others!
