Residence Inn Springfield Chicopee

Pet fee is outrageous! Two people stay for $179 & an 8 lb. dog is $150! What’s up with that? You lost a family’s business with that decision.

I am a AF reservist and we are often put up in this hotel when the local base runs out of space. The rooms are great, the staff is great, it is clean, it is well maintained (although still very new), the pool is great, the hours are great for the pool, the food is good. And check out in 12 noon- which we military rarely use because we report at 0630, but it is wonderful with kids. My family came with me this past weekend and really enjoyed the stay. My BIG complaint.... breakfast hours are 0600-09 (or 0930?) on the weekdays, they change it on weekends to 0700-10. I understand this is likely because people are up earlier during the week for work etc., but this is one of the select hotels the base uses and it gives them A LOT of business. The ONE weekend per month we are there, it would be great if they would open breakfast @6 so we can take advantage of the amenities before reporting to our work- which is often 10 hours both days! I would encourage anyone coming to town- or the several around it to stay at the Chicopee Residence, but this detail really stinks for those of us walking around in the green ! Special kudos to the woman working breakfast this last Sunday- I got to report an hour late due to weather and was gobbling down some eggs in a hurry as soon as they opened- she found me a to go box so I could take it for the road and not be late or hungry!

This was a great property with adequate space and amenities for my family’s visit to the Basketball Hall of Fame. The rooms were just what we needed. We will definitely stay here again.
