It was an overall great stay. You can’t beat the location and convenience with kids. Love the fact that we can walk out of our room and the beach is right there. Hotel could not keep up with the towels. Annoyed by pool area. Never any available chairs to sit at. People threw towels on chairs and then disappear. Every time my family went to the pool we either had not chair or had to share 1 and sit on the ground.

Beautiful property! My kids loved the bunk beds. I loved the slider door that opened out to the beach. The beach was never packed which was great. The outdoor pool was a huge hit with the kids. Great food options in the area. Definitely will stay here again

Beautiful place for vacation! Our kids enjoyed indoor and outdoor pool. Renovated hotel. Snell fresh. Clean place. Great location with a lot of dining options. The beach was clean and quiet. We will go back. Room 142 is right in front of the poll, love it. Was easy to take the kids to the pool and have a great view.

The updates being done during the renovation are looking good. Our room had a king bed and full-size bunks...all quite comfortable. The kids loved the bunks! The room was nice and clean (still had a bit of the fresh paint smell, but it wasn’t horrible). The location is great, lots of chairs on the beach and the pool (not open yet) looked cute. We hope to make it back in the summer and stay a bit longer to enjoy it all more. Thanks to the front desk staff for giving chocolates to the moms for Mother’s Day…nice touch!

Our “beachfront” rooms were supposed to be on the beach. We were on the 2nd floor. They told me “did you request 1st floor?” How was I supposed to know I had to “request”? I asked to upgrade to 1st floor and was told they were sold out. Called to speak to a manager…they put me on hold and then hung up. Also I spent alot of $$$…3 rooms for family…and our rooms were in different buildings…despite multiple calls to hotel weeks before visit. Parking fee of $25/day per car if you booked through a 3rd party. Total BS. One of the rooms didn’t have a remote for tv. We called 3 times and they never brought one. When we arrived…only 2/3 rooms ready. They stated they would bring key for 3rd room. Never did. Had to go back to front desk check in…which is at neighboring resort…to pick up keys. Would not recommend to others…nor stay here again.

This is a motel that has a pool and is by the beach. The facilities are moderately maintained - though the washroom is very old and has mildew and is generally not nice. The rooms are damp, salty smelling (by the sea!) and the A/C is very loud - my family and I could not sleep in our room and so checked out early. The motel was kind enough to refund us a 1 night stay with minimal hassle. The food/beverage offering is limited and there are no nearby restaurants with the exception of 2 chowder/seafood places that are 20 min walk or 5 min drive. It is a solid 3 star motel by the sea which is need of maintenance (broken beach chairs, no swings on the beach playground as shown in photos). Kids peeing in pools without parents or staff correcting this behavior (gross!). NOT a resort.

Trust the negative reviews. This is NOT a resort. This is an overpriced motel! Room was dirty & smelled like mold, garbage on the beach, rusty, broken swingset, no amenities, no food, drinks or coffee available at Riviera. “Complimentary” bikes didn’t unlock, loud and moldy AC, flies everywhere. No kids club on site, no front desk, have to pay for parking and resort fee, for what? Shameful!

The beach near the property is very neatly maintained and easily accessible to the people staying in the resort. Beach chairs, umbrelllas and beach towels are provided.Swim pool is maintained very well and kid friendly. Some of the downside of the resorts are: - Rooms do not have microwave oven. - The breakfast buffet can be better for the price being charged.
