Ocean Mist Beach Hotel & Suites

Great property. They were doing landscape qork all morning so that was annoyingly loud, but ended by 12. There were 8ish bikes available for use while on property, easy to sign out amd area around hotel is perfect for a 30 minute easy ride. No kids bikes or kid carrier seats. Sheets in loft room were dirty and no comforter, but easily and quickly reppaced by front desk staff. Outdoor hot tub was dirty, indoor and outdoor pools were great. Lots of lounge chairs facing the ocean for a relaxing sun bathing day and there were a few hammocks for use too. Woukd definitely stay again, loft rooms were very roomy.

It has everything you want to enjoy with like indoor, outdoor pool, jacucci, beachfront room with complimentary upgrade. One of the best vacation times I have had for my 30 yrs. good weather, great beach to walk morning and evening. family-oriented, best price for quality resort. I strongly recommend to have a reservation. I will come back next year.

My family and I spent 5 nights at Ocean Mist South Yarmouth in Sept. The view from our room was great as was the service and the staff. Everyone we spoke to was helpful and friendly. You can’t beat the location and the private beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. There were a couple of things in our room that we feel need mentioning. Not things that you should find in a 3 or 4 star hotel. The toilet wasn’t seated properly so it wobbled which made it uncomfortable to use. Someone obviously attempted to fix the toilet because it had caulking along the base, but that didn’t work. Also, the toilet paper is in an awkward place. You need to twist backward in order to reach it. (Which is probably why the toilet is wobbly.) Just really not a good setup. We also found our mattress to be extremely uncomfortable. We kept rolling to the center of the bed and woke with back pain. My husband ended up sleeping on the the pull out couch in the loft because he was that uncomfortable. My adult children slept in the other bed, and did not have a problem. We did very much enjoy our stay but are hesitant to recommend to others or stay there again because of the bed situation. We did not mention this to the front desk because we were very happy with our view and location and did not want to go to the trouble to repack and change rooms. Very concerning is that we reached out to the hotel with our concerns and didn't receive a response.

Easy access to places and great family place to stay…

Please take the time to review all reviews thoroughly before staying here. My family and I checked in and out of this hotel within two hours due to mold in the room, which I have photos for proof. The employees confirmed that mold was an issue with all ground floor rooms. My family and I spent my husband's birthday contemplating sleeping on our suv, making the 13 home drive home or finding a hotel halfway at the last minute since the hotel was at capacity with no non mold available rooms. Unwilling to give us any type of refund since we didn't book through them, we're fighting an uphill battle with the third party booking site and putting a lawyer on retainer for health and safety issues at this establishment. I'm not sure if the amenities and location are fantastic since we had to leave suddenly to protect our bodies' health.

I purchased a loft with ocean view and when arrived the front desk lady was going to give me a standard not ocean view because it was all sold out and supposed thats what i reserved i was soo disappointed i was going to cancel after driving 2 hours and paying much more for my mother's day gift i was really upset after waiting a telling the lady that it didn't look sold out parking was empty lights off and didn't want just a 10% refund because the point of staying there was the view she just randomly told me ohh now she had a room with view was soo confusing but i accepted it when i got to room was surprising nice loft room pretty like in the pictures but unfortunately was dirty finger print everyware table had crumbs and some white powder toys and crumbs of chips under the sofa y guess it was my last options had to clean it myself i think it should be more honest and let people know its a partial ocean view and indoor pool is smaller of how it looks on picture jacuzzi was full always since it was cold around 60 outdoor pool was empty my kids were in the indoor pool saw a coyote in the arounds soo just be careful with little kids .

I was very happy until the evening when a family above has many children with HEAVY FEET. No sleep whatsoever. When I returned to my room the next day the cleaning staff never shut my door. Very unhappy. Did not stay the second night I paid for at $500 a night.

Beautiful hotel with spectacular views! Very comfortable and Skipper’s restaurant down the street was a great recommendation from the front desk. Great for families and couples! Will definitely stay here again!

The hotel room itself was pretty good. The bathroom, especially the ceiling and tub need to be replaced desperately. The worst part of everything was the check in. 4pm check in seems just ridiculous, considering 11am check out. When we asked if we could get in a little early so our toddler could nap we were told they wouldn’t know and we had to come in person. When we got there at 1 and asked they said no, and to give our phone number so they could call when it’s ready so we didn’t need to “keep coming in to ask” (we only went in 1 time to ask) at 3:15 I went to check and they said yes it was ready despite not calling to tell us. The beach is small and some of the features are pretty dated but overall it was an “ok” place.

Is a good hotel for families especially with kitchenette in room. No place on property to eat. Stayed for 2 nights with a friend and would have preferred a more luxurious setting with an ocean view (we overlooked the parking lot) but it was fine for the short visit. Would have not come here for a romantic trip with husband. Beach was small but nice. There were a few minor issues with the room but staff was super friendly and accommodating. Short drive to restaurants.
