Hyatt Place Ocean City / Oceanfront

It was very lovely and very clean and quiet me and the grandkids love that it was right there off the beach by the boardwalk they enjoyed riding the scooters very nice. People poles were clean right next to each other. The outdoor indoor so my grandson was bouncing back-and-forth and it was very convenient to everything we needed.

We were at the Hyatt Place for 2 nights. Rooms are a bit tight but overall happy with the offering considering the location and family friendly. Was surprised to see that it was pet-friendly too

Our only complaints was the outdoor pool was Awfully cold, so much so we couldn't use it, but our main complaint was the parking lot. It was AUFUL. Such a small, tiny parking lot for such a large hotel! We know you have an over flow lot, and I know we were told it's only a block away, but when you have several suitcases, bags, kids, etc. it's REALLY inconvenient. Other hotels have large on-site parking garages, just sayin... but other than that it was very nice.

The staff was great. Everyone was very friendly. Our door key sensor stopped working and maintenance took care of it immediately. Unfortunately, you cannot use a digital key since it was booked via hotels.com. The room was clean and very spacious. The shower/bathroom also had a lot of room but the shower head left a lot to be desired. It only had about 6 holes and no way to change the flow pattern. The breakfast was mediocre. There were lots of options but the food was barely warm. The outdoor pool is great for children as the deep-end is only 4 ft and it also has a large 1 ft section for children that cannot swim. The pool bar was a little expensive for the amount of alcohol that was used in the mixed drink. $12 for 2 measured “shots” of alcohol in a mixed drink.

Our room was spacious, despite 2 adults and 2 teenage children we did not feel cramped. Our balcony was not advertised as an ocean view, but we did have a wonderful view of the ocean. The hotel looked and smelled clean. Everything was kept tidy, and we always seen people working hard to keep it that way! There were flies in the lobby, but flies do what they want. The property looked and felt very clean despite the flies. Breakfast was great! Our daughter has Celiac disease and follows a strict gluten free diet. She was able to have eggs and the meat option. We were unable to find any details on the breakfast potatoes, so she did not try them. She also was able to have a bowl of fruit and yogurt. There were individual bowls of cereal, but unsure of any of those options were gluten free. It was all very delicious.

My family and I had a wonderful time for it being our first time in ocean city. We will definitely be back!

This property exceeded my family and i expectations. From the cleanliness to the amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back soon.

The check in was quick and efficient. Staff were friendly and professional. Room was very clean and lots of space. Nicely furnished. Love that was able to add a microwave to our room (no extra cost). Indoor Pool was ok. Under 4 feet made it feel like a kiddie pool but was clean. There was only a couple of towels available when came down in middle of morning. Suprised there was not more stocked up. Only criticism Check out was quick Breakfast was very good. Variety of options from muffins to eggs, sausage, oatmeal, bread/toast, cold cereals. Yogurt cups would have been nice as seen that at other hotels with breakfast buffet but everything tasted good and they kept stocked regularly. Stayed in 2 queen room with roll in shower. Beds were big and veryconfortable. and was nice there was an extra pull out sofa bed. The balcony was nice Nice to be so close to beach. Boardwalk was clean and boardwalk was clean. Much better than places ike atlantic city. Inside parking is small, very packed and noone seemed to leave their cars so once someone is in, you aren't finding a space unless super lucky though there is an extra lot about a block or so away, not bad as weather was beautiful this weekend. If weather was bad would have been more inconvienant.
