Hyatt Place Ocean City / Oceanfront

Our only complaints was the outdoor pool was Awfully cold, so much so we couldn't use it, but our main complaint was the parking lot. It was AUFUL. Such a small, tiny parking lot for such a large hotel! We know you have an over flow lot, and I know we were told it's only a block away, but when you have several suitcases, bags, kids, etc. it's REALLY inconvenient. Other hotels have large on-site parking garages, just sayin... but other than that it was very nice.

The staff was great. Everyone was very friendly. Our door key sensor stopped working and maintenance took care of it immediately. Unfortunately, you cannot use a digital key since it was booked via hotels.com. The room was clean and very spacious. The shower/bathroom also had a lot of room but the shower head left a lot to be desired. It only had about 6 holes and no way to change the flow pattern. The breakfast was mediocre. There were lots of options but the food was barely warm. The outdoor pool is great for children as the deep-end is only 4 ft and it also has a large 1 ft section for children that cannot swim. The pool bar was a little expensive for the amount of alcohol that was used in the mixed drink. $12 for 2 measured “shots” of alcohol in a mixed drink.

My family including my puppy had a great time, the daily breakfast got us off on a good start.

This property exceeded my family and i expectations. From the cleanliness to the amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back soon.

The check in was quick and efficient. Staff were friendly and professional. Room was very clean and lots of space. Nicely furnished. Love that was able to add a microwave to our room (no extra cost). Indoor Pool was ok. Under 4 feet made it feel like a kiddie pool but was clean. There was only a couple of towels available when came down in middle of morning. Suprised there was not more stocked up. Only criticism Check out was quick Breakfast was very good. Variety of options from muffins to eggs, sausage, oatmeal, bread/toast, cold cereals. Yogurt cups would have been nice as seen that at other hotels with breakfast buffet but everything tasted good and they kept stocked regularly. Stayed in 2 queen room with roll in shower. Beds were big and veryconfortable. and was nice there was an extra pull out sofa bed. The balcony was nice Nice to be so close to beach. Boardwalk was clean and boardwalk was clean. Much better than places ike atlantic city. Inside parking is small, very packed and noone seemed to leave their cars so once someone is in, you aren't finding a space unless super lucky though there is an extra lot about a block or so away, not bad as weather was beautiful this weekend. If weather was bad would have been more inconvienant.

Loved that it was right on the boardwalk. Staff were friendly, indoor pool was great for the kids. Breakfast was great!

My family first stayed at a Hyatt Place in Indianapolis, Indiana. We absolutely loved it so we decided to try this one in Ocean City, Maryland. We got a great deal and couldn’t pass it up. We really enjoyed our stay here as well. The front desk Staff is very helpful answering any questions they are able to. Housekeeping was awesome and we received any towels and linens needed. We had an ocean front room which I highly recommend! Even though it was cloudy and raining most of our trip, the ocean view was still amazing. My kids enjoyed playing on the beach, walking on the boardwalk and swimming in the indoor pool. We also loved the delicious complimentary breakfast buffet! It offers scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausage, bagels and bread (with option to toast), pancakes (with toppings), French toast sticks, muffins, donut holes, yogurt with granola, fruit options such as bananas and oranges, orange juice, water and coffee. The herbal tea and hot chocolate are available at any time! We had an ice machine directly across from our room. Laundry is available on the 4th and 6th floors. It cost $2 to wash and $2 to dry. Uses quarters only. Hyatt Place Ocean front/Ocean City even has a pet station with treats and water for your pet. It’s a dog friendly hotel. There is also a 24 hour gym in the hotel and there is even a bathroom inside the gym. You will need your hotel keycard to get into the gym and pool and to get ice. I felt safe in this hotel. I highly recommend it!

Im from VA Beach, VA. My kids and I have made it a tradition to get away from our city and hang out in OC during the off season. Although most attractions are closed in the off season, alot of the staple businesses are still open and thats good enough for us. I work 2 jobs so we dont get out much. But if I have extra PTO days, I like to use them up there with them to just relax. The Hyatt OC by far has been the best establishment that we've been to. Its probably the 4 hotel in 6 months. highlights: -included breakfast was probably just as good as some of those places around the OC -love that they had luggage carts, like one for every floor! -Mickey, front desk kid was very informative. His customer service is top notch. -two pools, the indoor one is heated and even open during the off season. my kids really loved that. -plenty of parking -bathrooms were really clean as well as the lobby one. -shower heads sprayed nice with strong pressure Definitely coming back to this place!

From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with a smiling face and that continued throughout our 6 night stay no matter which Hyatt staff person we spoke to or passed by. There was plenty of parking spaces, plus side street parking close to the door. The entire hotel and room smelled fresh and was very clean. The bedding was plush and so comfortable, I just wanted to stay in bed and watch the large screen TV. Speaking of which unlike many places at the Hyatt you get many channel choices including all the HBO channels. But if you stream, you can easily sit in bed and cast all your streaming services to the TV and it doesn't cost anything. (Except for what you already pay for your streaming subscription) Every morning breakfast is ready between 6:30-7. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, fixings for breakfast burritos, sausage links, kielbasa, potatoes, french toast sticks, bagels, toast, oatmeal, variety of cold cereal, donut holes, variety of muffins and danish, juice, tea, cocoa, coffee. There is an indoor pool, the temp is 84 degrees and it is very well maintained. I almost didn't book this hotel because they accept pets. I love animals but I have stayed in hotels before and I could smell someone's fur baby had an accident. And another all I heard was barking all the time. Not here at the Hyatt, I passed others in the lobby and parking lot with their dogs. But I never heard one dog bark. And there was definitely no odor any where.
