Grand Hotel Ocean City Oceanfront

My husband and I went there for our 36th anniversary and my 69th birthday. We had a fabulous time.!! I loved everything they had there the hotel the arcades for the children the different bar the different restaurant. It was extremely a very good experience. I will come back again.!!!

I want to mention things my family felt underwhelmed with. One is definitely the bathroom, too small, not enough light, door wouldn't lock and looked outdated. Also, we ate at the restaurant on the 6th floor, I asked for a glass of water, it was the most disguising water I ever, ever drank. I didn't what to spit it back in cup, but I should have, hopefully I don't get sick because of it. I spoke with other people outside who was buying water from across the street, they said the same thing. Toilet water, and I sure neither of us tried it before. Maybe this is why the food at the restaurant was awful. Couldn't cut the pancakes and they were not cooked on the other side, Ugh!!

Great place. beautiful. We checked in after checking outof the sketchy hotel next door. The room was gorgeous as was the balcony. The bartender at Epic is very rude. I was waiting for a long time for my takeout food (no problem at all, but I had to get back to the room to a disabled family member who was on vacation with me). I asked if the food was going to be much longer because if it was, I was going to go upstairs and come back. "It will be ready when it is ready." I told her that it was pointless for me to ask if that was the answer. The breakfast was fair. But it was nice to eat our room service meal on the balcony. :)

Very uncomfortable. The carpet was really dirty. We have a baby and his feet was really dirty from the carpet. We was glad that we had walker and didn't put him on the floor. We had to shorten our stay. Was supposed to had sauna, but it was closed and not to reopen.

The check in process was excellent,staff were friendly. I mentioned I booked for my birthday and I was given a free upgrade. The room was excellent for me and my family of 4. We had a great time, probably the best Ocean City stay yet!

The air conditioning unit was extremely loud, which kept me up. I would have rated the hotel higher if it wasn’t for that. The balconies are not private as there are open grilles which a child can squeeze through it to get into your area of the balcony, but this did not affect my eating just the very loud a/c unit.

Great location..perfect family property

Nice place to stay. Parking was an issue, carts to load and unload your belongings were an issue, Tiki Bar staff were extremely rude and food was terrible. Hotel staff were great, always friendly and always cleaning. Italian restaurant attached was delicious, arcade and pool area great for kids.

We stayed here for the first time this year and will definitely be back! The hotel is clean, great location, direct access to the beach and boardwalk, great shops downstairs, food and restaurants on site, pools, arcade room & more! The room was clean and comfortable and we went with an oceanfront view-super nice with balcony and gorgeous beach view! We were a family of 4 and liked this location as it’s still in the middle of everything but not super close to the inlet and the more rowdy areas - it was nice and safe and clean. Will stay again!

Perfect for our small family. Loved the location and all the amenities!
