It's at the beach. Our room had a musty smell, kind of expected. The wifi wasn't working, but my kid asked the front desk to reset it, and that fixed the problem. Our keys didn't work when we returned to the room after dinner. My kid went down to the front desk, and they gave us new keys. The breakfast was quite adequate. We stayed one night on our way to Downeast. It's just a little bit older with fluorescent lighting, but it was really clean, which I very much appreciated. And the staff we interacted with couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful.

A great value, and a quick drive to nearby beach and local eateries and some shopping. The daytime staff are extremely hard working and professional. Matt was super friendly and accommodating and the woman whose name I didn’t catch who was working the dayshift on 6/26/24 was so hard working, multitasking, friendly and accommodating. In the evening hours of 6/25/24 I went downstairs to get ice with my kids, and a woman who I think worked at the hotel, was sitting on the check in countertop chatting with a man- it was awkward and I felt like I was intruding. Otherwise a decent stay. Breakfast was good enough!

We didn’t stay the night. The room reeked of urine as soon as we walked in. I couldn’t let my kids sleep there. Front desk staff wasn’t very knowledgeable.

You could Definitely throw some fertilizer down on your grass out front , also breakfast was alright, no bacon though. Says they don't accept cash on the property but it's 7$ cash to swim so if you have kids bring some cash. And they only take exact change. But it was clean , quiet and safe

My family and I have stayed here about once a year for the last 5 years, but this was the worst stay for sure. The pool was closed (and it wasn’t apparent before booking) and the shower was super weak. A few ants in the bathroom as well. I hope they can do better next time, or we may be finding a new spot.

Was a good experience. We stayed one night. Check-in was easy. We got to our room and it was only partially cleaned. We reported to the front desk and they sent someone right up. The person cleaning was very apologetic. The kids used the pool which was fun. Was in a bit of rough shape but overall good experience. Water was warm. No issues with noise while trying to sleep and were right next to the elevator on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was good, I had a bagel, eggs and sausage. Checkout was easy, just dropped our key in a bin. It did make me a bit nervous no one was there to take our key though. I felt like anyone could have walked by and grabbed our key and gone to our room since our key was left in the folder with the room number. There were multiple keys in there so it didn't seem like it was emptied often. Overall good experience though. Would stay again. Was $100 for the night.

No maid service, plus man at front counter was smoking outside of hotel, Bamboo Garden being close to the hotel was convenient! Girl at front desk was not pleasant when we asked for pool towels we instead got hand towels😩 The pool was relaxing and my grandchildren enjoyed swimming in it!

The hotel was in a great location. We were close to the beaches and other sight seeing. The hotel could be nice, but it is poorly managed. Upon arrival for a 3 pm checkin, there was a sign at the front desk that staff were busy helping with other duties throughout the hotel. We waited in the lobby along with multiple other families. (They were short staffed our entire stay.). When we finally were able to go up to our room, it had never been cleaned!!! We had to return to the lobby and wait. We were given complimentary water and a cookie. The hotel is ran by a few very young staff. They were friendly, but seemed overwhelmed. The first day breakfast was sparse at the best because their delivery truck didn’t come in. For the price we paid, this is all unacceptable. We told the young man that cleaned our floor just to give us our necessities each day and skip the cleaning because they had such few staff. The hotel is not cleaned thoroughly anyway. We had hair on the walls of our bathroom, nothing in there had been scrubbed, dirty floors throughout , the breakfast area tables were never wiped off, ect. Again, I do want to say the staff that were there were pleasant, but this was far from a great stay!!

Not so great. Not within walking distance to the beach. When first arrived they did not give the adjoining rooms for safety purposes (so my younger kids could have their own room and my husband and I have ours) that I requested months in advance and didn't think they could help because of the holiday weekend (july 4th) So I told them we would be canceling our stay if they could not accommodate us. They "figured it out" after about 20 minutes. Both mornings they ran out of breakfast by 8am and had to request they make more since breakfast goes until 930. Frustrating for sure. Pool area was SO hot and humid out was hard to breathe on the room while watching my kids swim in the super over chlorinated pool. Maybe nice for a single person traveling on business but not super family oriented.
