Everything went well during my family’s stay. One downfall we had was the loud door slams every time one closes their room door. That woke me up many times.

We had a three night stay with 4 of us staying in a double queen bed room. Three adults and one child ( grandparents, son and grandson). We thought the hotel itself was very clean as were the rooms. Breakfast was very good but so much garbage produced by all the paper plates and plastic utensils wth absolutely no recycling option. Very disappointed with no room service without request. We didn't know about this policy even though it was posted, so came back to an unmade room with wet towels etc. There is really nowhere to hang up 4 towels to dry etc. We had to ask each day for a 4th towel, only 3 were left in the room. The beds were very comfortable. TV programs were very minimalist no Netflix etc. The room was very small with only one chair and AC unit so close to the bed that the ones in that bed freeze.Other than that good stay.

We ended up having a last minute need to stay in the area and reserved the hotel 2 hours before we arrived. We were greeted with a smile. It took only a minute or two to check in, and getting everything in to the hotel was easy. The room was perfect for our family and the facility is nice and clean!

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was very good. My family used both the pool and the fitness center, which were very well maintained. What I especially appreciated was that they accepted dogs in the room. We only saw one other family with a dog though. Centrally located to many scenic and historical sites, and right next to the outlets (if that's of interest).

I was perplexed by the way the front desk handled my arrival. When I walked into the hotel, I was neither hostile nor hurried but the man beyond the counter immediately said that the hotel's computer was down and they would be with me shortly. I said that was fine. He then said variations on "It's a nightmare" and "We're doing our best several times while I repeated -- to the increasing sense that no one was actually listening to me -- that I was fine with waiting. A young woman behind the counter located my reservation and began very quietly walking me through the check-in. At that point, an older couple walked in and the man greeted them very cheerfully, explaining that he had their room ready for them now. In a booming voice, he warmly welcomed them and gave them their information, while the young woman whispered the same information to me. I couldn't help but feel that my business was less important to the hotel than the couple, and I had no idea why. It was extremely strange, almost as if they didn't really see me. That said, the hotel room is nice, except for a sliding bathroom barn-style door that is going to take some poor kid's fingers off someday. Had to drive into NH to find a restaurant.

The hotel is a recent build and is clean and modern. Staff is friendly and helpful. Has all the amenities; pool, gym, business center, continental breakfast. This will be my new “must stay” when visiting family in Maine. One traveler’s tip: It can be tough to turn north (left) out of the hotel driveway onto Route 1 during busy traffic. Avoid this by driving into the attached parking lot of the Kittery Outlets and exit to Route 1 by their driveway which has a traffic light.

I researched hotels in a 10-mile radius of York, and this was the best by far! Traveling with just myself and my child, I felt safe at all times. Clean, comfy beds, nice (hot!) breakfast included, and the best gym I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful at every interaction. Highly recommend!
