Great location and nice hotel. We wanted a place with a pool and one that was pet friendly and good for families. This was all that. The pool water was too cold and that was the only negative.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn. The rooms were very clean and spacious for a family of four. The pool was a hit with our two young children. We enjoyed the complementary breakfast, it had all our favorites. The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. The location was perfect, very close to many delicious restaurants and shopping. Overall, I highly recommend for families traveling with children. We’re looking forward to our next trip to Portland and stay at the Hampton Inn.

I love this hotel, have stayed here a dozen times probably. Unfortunately this time around was overrun with a kids hockey team or something that seemed to spend the entirety of their weekend running amok in the hallway. 20 preteen kids in the hallway, banging on our door saying they’re the FBI, running up and down the hall throwing footballs, blocking my door when I’m trying to get in my room etc. parents nowhere to be found and didn’t seem to care about anyone else this effected. I blame the parents mostly, amazing that parents were actually present, but I dunno guys give these kids what for. We all know if these were college kids/adults causing half this much mayhem they would’ve gotten booted in an instant. I don’t wanna pay $200/night to be terrorized by a league of unsupervised brats that get a pass because staff are scared to confront kids. Likely will choose a different hotel in the future

We come every year for polar express at the railroad - perfect spot. Our kids love the pool, the rooms are clean, and it’s walking distance to restaurants & the railroad!

Clean and comfortable. Standard room would've been tight for a family of five, but one child could not make the trip, so it was ok. Amenities were lacking. Trying to be eco-friendly is great, but our shower did not have enough shampoo in the refillable bottle. No info booklet in room about hotel or nearby areas to shop/eat. Staff was just ok, but maybe because it was late when we checked in. Great location in the middle of downtown.

I loved the view from our room. The room was spacious and very nice. The bathroom was bright and clean. My children enjoyed taking advantage of the indoor pool. The location was great. There are stores and restaurants within a walkable distance. I paid for valet because I felt it would be easier to manage. It worked out well. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Booked a king sized bed but was given a room with two queens. Traveled with a small baby so didn’t have time to ask for different room. Beds were extremely stiff. TV was incredibly cheap (not smart TV) and didn’t offer streaming services. Service and location was really good otherwise. Plenty of street parking nearby

It was school vacation week . Children running up and down hallways . Children in room next door making lots of noise . Breakfast in the lobby full of small kids running around touching food and leaving mess on floors . No supervision from parents or front desk . Very hard to get food or coffee
