The property was not terrible but it was not good either. We had one of the larger rooms (it read it slept 7- not sure where the 7th person would have slept). We had two queen beds and a pullout couch. The queen beds were not comfortable but we managed. Just a few aches the next day. The pullout bed was horrible, the springs could be felt when you laid down. We asked the lady at the desk, who phoned her manager to assist us, with providing another bed from another room or some other solution, we were told we just had to deal with it. So we used several extra blankets to try to make it tolerable for our two younger children who had the unfortunate experience of sleeping on this bed. The hotel was decently clean, except for the large circle stain on the pull down curtain (not sure what happened here) and we had to request new sheets on the pull out as it had stains on the sheets too. Breakfast was what you would expect from a hotel like this, nothing special but edible. The area looks pretty rough surrounding the hotel, but we didn’t have any problems and they kept the main entrance locked down at all times. If you have low expectations then you won’t be disappointed in staying here, however if you are looking for a relaxing stay, this is probably not the place for you.

Overall it was a decent stay. But it’s definitely some sketchy individuals in the area. Two people including one that was a so call security guard asked me where I was from at 11 at night when I was walking in the entrance with my two kids. It made me very suspicious and worried on why he would be asking me that and he works for the hotel.

When we arrived, warm cookies were just being put out, I knew right then I made the right choice of hotels:-). We had a great one night stay with the family. I could have used a mattress topper to add to the pullout sofabed but overall, it was a good experience. I appreciated the hot breakfast before hitting the road back home. The staff was friendly and gave excellent recommendations for dining and sightseeing.

Stayed here the night before our cruise. Suite big enough for our family and the free breakfast was good.

My daughters (13 & 9) & I picked this hotel for location & for the pool. Upon arrival check in was smooth, I asked about the pool & the lady (maybe a manager) stated “oh the weather isn’t supposed to be great” & I said this is summer for us we’re from Connecticut so we’ll come back. Maybe an hour later or so we came back down, the same lady said the maintenance guy will come out to open the gate. We waited by the gate for over 15 minutes before I went back inside to see what was taking so long. The same lady came out to say the maintenance guy had taken the key but she got it, but apparently chemicals were put in the pool & it can’t be used for 24 hours. So I said that’s unfortunate, why didn’t you tell us that when we checked in & I inquired about the pool. She just apologized. The next day we had a swamp tour scheduled so we skipped the pool & tried on Tuesday. The gentleman in the front desk was honest enough to tell me the pool was closed for the season (unsure why since it’s 80° while we were there & the website did NOT state that) & it’s not going to be open during our stay. I said thank you for being honest with us.The pool was VERY small, more like a family jacuzzi size pool, but my daughters would’ve enjoyed it anyways. The website should disclose when the pool is closed. The hotel is NEXT to run down graffiti buildings! Our room literally faced them, a crappy view. Our room had a wet rug smell, we bought febreze! The breakfast was ok, the cook was pleasant!

Flight delayed after cruise and needed a room for three days. Staff very friendly and helpful as our family was stuck due to the Final Four playoffs and lack of transportation.
