It was okay for overnight stay. This is our second time here, love our first stay here, but the second time. Nah..they put us in a big room with dark empty brick wall in the masters bedroom. I askes if I can change room, so my family can be comfortable, but the front desk said, there's no more room that day. But upon checking online the hotel is still availalble for booking that day. I didn't sleep in masters bedroom. I slept in the living room instead more bright. Valet parking here.

This trip was so relaxing given my circumstances. I came because i have surgery at 5am the next morning to get a hysterectomy to get rid of uterine cancer. Im 27 with no children and incredibly upset. But this stay was so comforting, the staff was so friendly, and the price was practically a steal with how much was included. Free wifi, a breakfast bar in the room, and it was so spacious too. It feels like a mini apartment; like home.

The hotel was in a great location. Room was spacious. Loved the record player in our room. The heating and air did not have a knob to adjust so we just had to guess. The door to the hallway had a large gap underneath and on the side where the hinges were letting in light but mostly letting in the marijauna be smoked across from us. It made it very uncomfortable in our room due to smell and we had two children under two. We asked for a pack in play but they didn’t give us the bottom for the baby to sleep on so we had to walk down to the car in valet to get it.

We chose this for the Sugar Bowl/NYE weekend. Location was fantastic. Room set up was ideal for us traveling with our college kiddo. Cleanliness in bathroom was not good. Pictures on website made it look much more updated than it is. Very little interaction with staff as they stayed behind the front desk.Breakfast was not tasty. It shows that leadership is incredibly comfortable bring an average hotel.

The staff at this location are young and very pleasant :) Every interaction with the staff was genuine and full of 'Southern Hospitality'. Common areas were always well maintained and organized during my stay. Complimentary hot breakfast every morning in the bar area fills up quickly. Scrambled eggs, sausage links and breakfast potatoes were served in chaffing dishes every day. Additional items offered during complimentary breakfast: assorted bagels, whole fresh fruit, croissants and apple juice as well as orange juice. Coffee was hot and fresh in air pots near the buffet area. Great common areas downstairs with a giftshop and business center onsite. Business center was down my entire stay and only 1 out of 2 elevators working :( King Suite is the room to book. Record player with records caught my eye immediately when I opened the door. Keurig coffee machine, microwave and small fridge were perfect. Room was clean at first glance. Started unpacking a few things and looking for outlets which is when I noticed garbage (empty water bottles and food wrappers behind the nightstand) and articles of other people’s clothing under the bed. Location was perfect. 10-15 minute walk to the Riverwalk Shops & Casino. 25-30 min walk to Canal/Bourbon Street, Jackson Square Park and the French Quarter. Briquette Restaurant next to this hotel was a fantastic surprise as well. I would recommend this location for business stay, small families and younger (under 50) travelers.
