This was our 1st time in nola, while the outside is ok, the room we had a some issues. There was stains on the sofas and floor the hallway had a musty water smell. My husband noticed a few broken picture frames. The room was definitely spacious but could have been better. The only other issue we had was the server downstairs and at the lounge due to a couple of our family had there own bottles of alcohol we still patronize the bar but the server in the 17th floor area was rude and it wasnt necessary. We absolutely love michelle hope i spelled her name right, but she everything!!!!

Although the bldg/rooms are old but cleanliness is maintained. Courteous & friendly front desk staff. I was looking for chair to sit down but it's missing. The tv remote was failing and USB ports next to bed not working. Other than these, it was a pleasant stay for my family. I can recommend.

The stay was very nice. The staff was very helpful. Special shout out to Carl who help change our room while on a separate floor from other family members. Took less than 5 minutes to do.

The staff was very nice upon arrival. However, when I called down to the front desk at midnight they were no help. The walls are VERY THIN and there were children next door yelling and screaming and jumping on beds until midnight. I called the front desk and they said “they would send someone”. I assume no one came because the noise continued for another hour. Ridiculous!!

This hotel was wonderful in all aspects. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. The only downfall, there is no microwave in the rooms. I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends, family and even strangers.

The rest of our family stayed down the road at Marquee timeshare property, and I think we were more impressed with our stay at the Troubador! Trendy and attractive hotel with a restaurant/bar downstairs (we did not try it), as well as a small snack bar in the lobby. Not a huge selection, but enough for late night munchies. All staff we encountered was very friendly and helpful! Our room was cleaned up every day, with fresh towels, new coffee pods and bottled water (for no charge). The shower was large and clean, water took some time to heat up but stayed nice and warm. Our room was on the 3rd floor, we had some street noise to be expected in NOLA, but didn’t hear anyone within the hotel at night. The beds are platform and a little uncomfortable, sheets were stiff but we slept well enough. We did not go up to check out Monkey Board rooftop bar. Though not directly in the heart of everything, access was convenient and we appreciated being slightly off the main drag. Overall, we would definitely stay again, especially for the price! Location was good, people were nice, facility was clean and welcoming. A great first trip to New Orleans.
