Hampton Inn Natchitoches

We had an awesome room. An the staff were very friendly an polite. I would recommend the hampton inn to all my family an friends. Thanks yall.

Hotel was very nice. Service was friendly. Beds were very comfortable. I requested a first floor room and received my request. We were put at the end of the hall by the back exit door. Everytime someone went out, the door slammed shut. After hearing this for 45 mins at 6:45, I decided to go ahead and get up! I understand it's a hotel, but maybe a hinge on the door to prevent the loud slams! :) Breakfast was limited. I don't know if they were short staffed that morning or what, but there wasn't much to choose from as far as pastries, and fruit. Waffles were yummy! My kids love waffles!! And, if u didn't like their breakfast, there was a waffle house 20 feet from the hotel! So, at least you had a choice!! All in all, it was a great stay. Very clean establishment. My complaints are very minor,, but worth sharing!!

We have stayed in a lot of Hampton Inn's and this one was by far the least favorite. The girl was nice when we checked in. The room was fairly decent, a little smaller than any other Hampton we have been too. The shower curtain was torn, the comforters were really lumpy (like from being washed and the insides bunched in big balls all over on the inside), there was hair in the tub (a big no no), the sink was clogged so our water wouldn't go down. We went down to get an extra blanket and she said she would be right up, close to an hour later (we got there late and had children that wanted to go to bed) she brought up the blankets. We were across the hall from 2 other rooms that were packed full of little kids (that wasn't the problem because we have kids too, but the problem was that it was after 11pm and these parents were letting these kids run wild in the hallway between the two rooms screaming and slamming doors) I called the front desk telling her I had a child that was sick and I waited until well after 11p to complain and they didn't ever do anything about it. Breakfast was good, combination of hot/cold items, the coffee was super strong and undrinkable. All in all I would not stay at this motel again. For the high amount we paid (pretty much the most I have ever spent on one motel room, even having a military discount) for one night for a tiny room with all the issues, it was WAY too over priced for what you got. I am a very disappointed loyal Hampton Inn customer.
